Keys to the Game
Universal
1. No big mistakes…championship games can be decided by the smallest of details. Turnover battle is usually decisive.
2. Prepare to make special teams plays…the great momentum builder/changer
3. Be opportunistic…opportunities are often few and far between in state games. Must take advantage of every opportunity.
4. Mental fortitude...momentum can (and usually does) change sides multiple times. Teams must weather the storm and maintain focus.

These three schools are way ahead of the usual curve for new programs. Normally, new programs go through tough initial seasons before a system can be fully established.
