TO the Person.....NO
To the Wr.....YES

Like his attitude or not...he is a big reason the Eagles made it as far as they did. Personally...he is an @ss...but you don't get points for having the Best attitude in Football...he does what they pay him to do....I can be an Eagles fan without being a TO fan. Same thing with Jordan and Rodman...Like Rodman or not...he was one of the best rebounders there was.

You don't get points for tearing your team apart either.....although he is helping all the other teams in the NFC East though, so I can't complain :D

He isn't doing what he was paid to do, he wants out of his contract that he already agreed to!

I say Dallas should get him....and then make him take Parcells Gatorade
during practice. And even when it's not "full contact" practice...Roy Williams always has the green light to jack T.O. up...and make him take the bus to all the games...and get a second job (to feed his family), and make him wear #0 just for the hell of it....let's see...what else could we do to him?

Reaganrattler07

Yeah, being on the Dallas Cowboys is torture enough.... :p

08-11-2005, 07:11 PM
Yeah it would be pure torture playing for a 5 time Super Bowl
Championship team...and a team that has been in 1/4 of all the
Super Bowls played...that would be horrible.

Reaganrattler07
08-11-2005, 07:18 PM
Yeah, too bad that "Winning Team" has suffered a 5-11 record for three years, fluked one and went 10-6 and then went back to 6-10....what a wonderful team.

How have those awesome Redskins been lately? Not much better....

Reaganrattler07
08-11-2005, 07:37 PM
No, they really haven't have they? But I thought since they were a 5 ime Superbowl Champions they'd be goin' to the Superbwol practically every year....seems the millenium screwed both teams up....

08-11-2005, 08:15 PM
No not every year...but according to averages...about every 4 years...
It means they are way overdue.
How about the 'Skins? They still paying Deion? boy that one worked out real well for 'em.

Reaganrattler07
08-11-2005, 09:58 PM
Hmm....I wasn't in the US when Deion played so I can't really comment on that one.

Now when was the last time the "Boys" as you call them gone to the Superbowl? (i'm actually asking, no smart alec question or anything) Did they get into the playoffs year before last? If so, how far did they advance?

The Cowboys won the Super Bowl in '95....10 years ago.
And I don't care if you were on a different planet when it happened....
PrimeTime raped the 'Skins....he did nothing...........zero......and got
paid how much?....
At least we got a Super Bowl out of him.

Lol, I didnt get the NFL where I was.....any US sports as a matter of fact and I was like 7 in '95. Although one time in elementary I remember that teh Cowboys were playing Green Bay and one school made a bet with us that the Packers would win. And the bet was we had to dance with cheesehats (irregardless of team affiliation) and to no surprise....Dallas lost. But somehow I got out of the dancing thing and just laughed at all the Dallas fans....although they weren't bandwagoners so I respected them...I hate bandwagoners.

I think TO and Rosenhaus may have bought ESPN. In the past week about 80% of airtime is spent talking about TO. I thought Disney owned it but honestly i wouldn't be suprised if Owens owned it.

I have had it with this dude. I agree, I turn on ESPN and it has turned into the T.O. network. It's getting to the point where people are saying "who cares?" It has become a circus of he said this...he said that...wow! It's freakin' football season...and all the media wants to talk about is this clown.

Opening kickoff for the season is September 11th....I swear if they turn that day into a media frenzy over T.O. I am through with the NFL. Of all days to act like children....don't do it on that one.

Hey T.O.----either play or don't play....it's getting old. Stop slapping vaseline on your grill before interviews, I'm tired of having to clean my TV after every time your shiny face is on the screen. Shut your big mouth...stop saying " I gotta feed my family" and just go away....please.

southlake thug
08-12-2005, 12:21 PM
If he continues his damn antics he wil not be in the league this year; or for that matter the other 6 or so years that he has on his contract. I know Andy Reid and the rest of the Eagles front office will not tolerate this and they have no problem sitting him out. I just wish TO would realize that he is not going to get any more money, even if he deserves it.

If i could, i would kick his ***.

But i probably can't.

I've never seen two ppl- player/agent handle themselves with less class than those two just did. I think the jury of public opinion turned drastically against the both of them.

Good news? I'm betting TO doesn't play for the Eagles and they aren't going to the Super Bowl.

Better news? If he does play for them they will be as they are now fragmented and the Eagles aren't going to the Super Bowl.

haha please.. the eagles have gone to 3 consecutive NFC Champoinship Games without TO. I don't know if you followed football the past couple of years, but the Eagles didn't have TO in the playoffs untill they reached the Super Bowl. This is an improved team from last year, with the exception of Todd Pinkston's recent injury. There are some questions at wide reciever but Reggie Brown has been nothing less then outstanding thus far. With Correll Buckhalter coming back and the draft of Ryan Moats, Brian Westbrook will be able to play more "slot reciever" or whatever you would like to call his position. The Eagles had 11 draft picks this year and have added alot depth.

I would also like to know who you think will win the NFC East if the Eagles don't? It is possible that the Eagles have a very bad season and dissapoint. But it is a far stretch to say that they don't make the playoffs.

Reaganrattler07

About the NFC East - if the Redskins can get a decent offense going, look for them to be better. The Cowboys need to see if their QB is actually gonna help this year. Giants...I dunno. But I don't think the Eagles will be taking the NFC East though.

I have followed football for the last 39 years....I will repeat what I said...they will NOT be in the super bowl. I did say and inadvertently so, that they would not be in the playoffs if they retained him....a freudian slip....I don't consider the playoffs until they are in the Superbowl..... It should have read (and I have edited it to say so) they will not be IN the super bowl. The Eagles could have a bad and ugly season and still come out on top of the NFC east.....it's a weak division.

Yeah will agree with everything but the last... there is nobody else to win that division. The eagles are the only team capable of competeting for 16 weeks. If Patrick Ramsey can get some things going i believe that they redskins could maybe pull of the wildcard spot. It looks like Washington has a pretty though schedule outside of the NFC East though (San Diego, Seattle, KC, Oakland, St. Louis, Denver).

I think everyone just see's the controversy with TO and completely underestimates this team. We have argueably the best secondary in the league, one of the best QB's, and in the words of Micheal Wilbon we have "the best all purpose running back since Marshall Faulk" in Brian Westbrook.

The only unit in the whole division that is scary is Washington's Defense. Which like usual, will be VERY good.

Reaganrattler07
08-12-2005, 10:01 PM
Lol, I'm glad we could finally find something to agree on, wideman.

About Philly. The lack of a passing attack is gonna create problems for the running attack. If you can't pass, they're gonna stack the line and make it hard for a run.

In Washington, Patrick Ramsey needs to get goin' with the offense. With the 'updated' offense from Joe Gibbs and a good quarterbacks coach in Bill Musgrave, hopefully this year will be the year that Ramsey finally steps up and becomes the Washington quarterback. He proved when he first played against the Giants in FedEx field that he can do it. (score was 35-7).

And for all you Cowboys fans, how is Bledsoe and the rest of the team comming?

Yeah he also said something about black quaterbacks. I don't remember the whole story. But shortly after that i do rememeber that Limbaugh had to go to rehab or something for his addiction to prescription pain killers.

Yeah he is ridiculous. Think about how bad Donovan is going to get bashed in that interview. They both hate him.

The only positive thing out of this whole ordeal is that everyone can now see how proffesional Donovan McNabb is. He has handled the whole TO saga very well and he making TO look like the fool that he is.

You'll dicounting the eagles? More or less they still have that defensed that shout down just about everyone in the NFC last year. They went through the playoffs pretty easily without TO last year. They made it to 3 NFC championships without any dominant wide receivers. The loss of Pinkston does hurt but the Eagles are the only complete team in the east. The rest are inconsistent at best. Maybe if you put the cardinals back in there it'd be a little harder to predict but The eagles are going to walk through the NFC east like USC through the Sun belt conference.

southlake thug

Finally there is someone on this board that understands. Like it or not, TO will be in Atlanta on Sept. 12, and he will be playing. TO needs money "to feed his family", and he under no circumstances would walk away from a couple million dollers.

Plus this is a better team then last year. N.D. Kalu and Correll Buckhalter are both back from injuries. And the secondary is straight up ridiculous.

Hdshrinker
08-15-2005, 10:15 AM
The only way TO will be in ATL is if he's sitting in the suites.....

southlake thug
08-15-2005, 11:21 AM
TO will do anything for money. And if his last resort is to play for the Eagles then that will be what he does. The Eagles have total control of this situation and i just cannot see them trading or releasing TO this year. Now maybe next year if things are still not in good shape there may be a trade.
