Poll: Will the Dallas Cowboys make the playoffs in 2005?

O.K., I'm going out on a line early and perdicting the Cowboys will make the playoffs with a 10-6 record as a wild card and win the wild card game but lose the semi-final. What do you think? :)

Yes i think that the Cowboys can make the playoffs. They did fix a lot of their problems, espically with the front 7. It will be intresting to see how the switch to 3-4 affects the different matchups on defense, espically against the Eagles. I think it should open up many more opportunities for Dallas. They offense is my only question mark now, but i think we will be fine after we signed Marco Rivera and have a very good 3-Deep running back committee (Julius Jones, Anthony Thomas, Marion Barber III). I definetly think they have the talent and coaching to go at least 2 deep in the playoffs, the only problem i could see them running into would be injury at in the secondary, because they are pretty thin there.

Its possible for dallas to go 12-4 but look at ur conference...Philly is the only team that can hold its own against a AFC team...if houston were in the nfc (which they arent) they could make the playoffs last year at 8-8 and this year win 10 games...houston plays in the toughest division in the toughest conference in football and they have beaten every team more than once except for indy...if u look at the conferences u have the No Football Conference with philly vs the afc with new england pitt, indy denver baltimore

There is a lot of rivalry in the NFC East.
But the NFC as a whole right now is pretty weak...you're right.

That was a loss for the 49ers but I feel really good about Coach Nolan coming in. I think he will be successful. Coach Mariucci has done a fantastic job in Detroit. That offense they have built is unbelieveable. The 49ers will definitely be back. With a 2-14 record last year I still support them 100 percent. I'm glad they picked up Alex Smith and I hope they go ahead and put him in as the starter. It may not be pretty at first but go ahead and let him take the hard knocks early and learn the system.

Drew Bledsoe is a temp, to wait for either Drew Henson or Tony Romo to develope. Drew also had a pretty nice season last year, 3000yds 20TDs. I'll take it, and our D will be revamped and ready to roll. Oh yeah, don't forget J.Jones.

I dont like the Cowboys QB situation either but I think he good enough to at least make the playoffs...I was born in houston so Ive been an Oilers fan since the first game I watched..was a big fan of Warren Moon..when they moved I followed them so im now a Titans fan..Still root for the Texans but not so much like i do for the Titans...still iffy about them making it..new defense...young offense...very iffy..

If Julius Jones can stay healthy for the whole season Dallas will have no problem making the playoffs.

Got lucky with Marcus Spears because he only sprained his MCL in his right knee, so he should be ready to go when the season starts.
