View Full Version : Hurricane Lonny
As most of ya'll have already noticed, 5atexasfootball.com was hit last night by a Category 6 Hurricane named Lonny. This inevitably flooded (literally) most, if not all, of the threads on the forum. The storm though is predicted to last only a couple of more hours, but the damage to D08's current post lead will already have been done.
Donations to victims of Hurricane Lonny can be made in the form of starting new pointless threads on the Off-Topic Board that will allow D08 to post short one-liners. Currently, efforts are being made to bring former Presidents Bush and Clinton to 5atexasfootball.com's forum to create the Hurricane Lonny Fund and to aid in starting new pointless threads.
I hope Lonny23 will give my thread the distinct honor of disclosing the extent of the damage and the exact number of posts he achieved in this 24 hour period when the time comes.
Thank you, and our prayers are with you Dragon08. :p

The eye of the storm has not completely made it over Texas yet, so the total extent of the storm and damage assessments can't be made at this time. This is a dangerous storm ladies and gentlemen. Stay inside and stay close to your computers! You will receive further emails from our temporary server in Midland. Hopefully the storm surge won't make it all the way out there. Bryan is completely under water right now and forecasters predict this storm will hit Southlake in the next 2 hours!
Don't go outside folks. It's too dangerous.

This one is wiping out downtown, but sparing Goodfellow AFB, Angelo State, and the stadium. Oh, yeah nothing happens to Christoval because I liked Colby Donaldson on Survivor 2! :D

If they close Goodfellow, we'll have more students at Sheppard and I might have to work harder! :D Actually, I'd take guys to make me look more important for my next promotion.
You know I can't take out the Air Force base. It is small and I don't know why they stay open, either.
Maybe I'll take out the Rumley Tractor instead! :p
