If you watched this game, which i hope you did, then you are previledged. This was one of the greatest games i've seen in a while. If you have any comments about this game comment, because it was a contriversal game in my eyes.

Great game - Texas oh so close to No. 1. I was for the Irish. That last drive was gutsy times ten for Leinart. What was controversial? He fumbled out of bounds clearly, killing the clock with 7 seconds - then snuck it over -- bad luck for ND.

i geuss contriversal was the wrong word, but i see that if the clock is running out and i'm not out of bounds, i can fake a fumble and launch the ball out of bounds. That wasn't the case in this game i jus think something should be done about that. Maybe i jsut don't know the rules well enought though. Can you clear this up.

OK - I gotcha - Leinart clearly had the ball knocked out. Now... if that ball comes out and goes out the end zone - game over because the Irish get it on the 20. Then, Pete Carroll is screaming for Leinart to spike it so they kick the fg to send it to OT - but Leinart sneaks it in anyway - gutsy baby. I was still for ND.

ya i know that but i'm saying what if leinheart just threw it out behind him after he knew it was stopped.(clearly not what happened, he got popped and the ball went flying) but what if it was ententional, is there any rule against this?

There is a rule to prevent this from happening. I don't know exactly how it is stated...but you're right...that didn't happen on this play.

I'm really starting to dislike USC for some reason.
They remind me of Duke back in the days of Hill and Laettner....God I hated those punks.

thanks, that was bothering me, because i knew there had to be a rule to prevent that from happening.

I hate USC too. But i think they will have another undefeated year unless they lose to someone in the national championship game(which texas won't be in).

We all know that this is not what happened due to re-play. However the call on the field was that he did do this and the clock ran out. We all saw that too. However after USC complained about this, they gave them another shot. Pete is the one that didnt want replay, so it should have been clock out, ball game, ND win in my opinion. Sh*t happens, if you dont have replay to fix it, dont complain.

My only complaint was...the spot...?
Why do they get it on the one foot line?
It went out about 3 yards back...that was BS.

Yea, even when they changed the call, why didnt they give it to them where it went out at? Which was 2-3 yards away like you said...

I know the reason Wide......you dont wanta wear that new name......But I was really rooting for Notre Dame. Why that corner let the USC guy get behind him I don't know....and if spped is the reason then interfere, take the penalty.

No if you watched the replay the official was signaling stopped clock...the call was right...the spot was wrong. Replay would have changed that.

You're right...mug him...take the penalty...and then try to stop them.

I don't see it.
Everyone is on the USC bandwagon...and I just don't see it.
They are beatable...very beatable.

Just watch the two teams...I mean really watch...with no bias.

Watch Texas......
Watch USC...

I've done it...and I don't see what all the fuss is about.
they are good...don't get me wrong...and they are one of the best
squads in the nation...

But the media and fans have this fantasy that they are unbeatable...
It just ain't true my brother.

Texas will run all over that D...I promise you.

The fuss is what it should be wide...Texas has not played but one team worth noting...and I am not sure they weren't over-hyped. Beating Notre Dame was a good win for USC...and I am betting almost beating USC will bring N D up in the ratings even as a loss.

The freshman for Texas really makes me want to watch though. He's electrifying....
