Would not normally support a Cali team, unless they're playing against Mark Cuban. The look on that jerk's face tonight was priceless. Go Warriors

Not going to win many games shooting less than 35%. What a horrible first game by Dallas.

I wouldnt worry too much, the mavs have a history of starting series slow, but coming back to win them. ex. Houston in the 1st round a couple years ago and they lost the first game to both SA and the Suns last year.

I really can't comment too much on the game because I didn't get to see it. I heard the radio feed for the first half and nothing in the 2nd half because I was working.

You have a hard time winning when you shoot 35%. I'm not happy they didn't play the centers. Somebody said the refs were swallowing their whistles and a guy told me that Dirk settled for too many jumpers.

Yes he did. The only player who drove the basket was Harris. All the Mavs did tonight was jack up jumper after jumper. It was frustrating to watch as a Mavs fan. Im sure Avery will have them ready on Wed. like he always does.
Anyone else wonder how hockey goes 1 day between games, but basketball constantly has breaks of 2 days? Doesnt make sense to me :confused:

It's so they can show every NBA game without any competition on most days. Hockey plays at the same time and sometimes you'll miss a game not being on TV.

They just played 8 games in 2 days because they had 4 games a day. It will take from Monday to Wednesday to play the Game 2's. They will sacrifice 2 crappy matchups and put them on ESPN2/NBA TV to go with the 2 games a day on TNT/ESPN.

I had a feeling it was all about the big stations wanting to get all the money they could.
I like how hockey just lets them play the first round games on the local stations so there isnt the big gap between games. Playoffs shouldnt go on for more than 2 months.....:eek:

The Mavs played directly into the Warriors hands tonight. Dallas needs to slow the game down, and just play. Another thing, they settled for too many jumpshots. Adjustments will be made!

As for the Warriors, the Warriors shot their way into it, and they'll shoot their out of it. There is an old saying that we Mavs fans know all too well;

"YOU LIVE BY THE JUMPSHOT, YOU WILL DIE BY THE JUMPSHOT!"

Kinda sucks for Stars fans like me that don't get the local station though.

All props to GS. They played with a lot of hustle and shot the ball well. Dallas missed more layups than I've seen a team miss in a long time. Dallas could have driven the ball all night, but settled for jumpers in the 2nd half and couldn't knock them down...If they don't shoot better, this could be a tough series..
