That is indeed the great Barbara Bush in a 1940 photo. This is why it always ticked me off that everybody harped on her being unattractive. It was a really big joke. Well, now we see that she was indeed beautiful and that outer beauty is fleeting, but that inner beauty, that makes her such a wonderful person and excellent First Lady, goes on inspite of loss of outer beauty.

Our society sucks in the fact that it judged her on the outer stuff and not the person.
