My first thought was free beer or naked cheerleaders would be the only two reasons for that many people to go to a scrimmage.
Alabama= NCAA Longview???

McElroy went 14-33 for 139 yards and 1 TD, 0 INTs and 3 sacks.
The other QB, junior and returning starter John Parker Wilson, didn't do a whole lot better going 18-36 for 244 yards, 2 TDs, 0 INTs and 1 sack.

I would love to see him take that number 1 spot away from Wilson. I know they come to Athens this year and think it would be great if he could be starting against Stafford by the time that game rolls around.

Agreed - and remember - it was FREE entrance - but, I mean, it's a spring game - and they turned away 25,000 folks. Roll tide.

Yeah - the winning team looked great didn't they? I've never been one way or the other for 'Bama - but I officially don't like Saban.

Man, that is crazy!
I hope that Saban gets the Tide back into the mix. Growing up, I don't know why, I was always a Tech and a Tide fan. Now, they are easily my favorite team in the SEC. (I wish they had kept Fran though:mad: )

You know its funny being here in Georgia and comparing the way they talk about their neighbors to the way we did in Texas. I have noticed that Alabama gets the Arkansas treatment with toothless aggression and inbred stuff. Tennessee gets the trailer park treatment like Oklahoma and South Carolina is well like Louisiana dirty, stupid and poor.
In a way its like Georgia is somewhat the Texas of the south of that makes any sense.
