RICHARD JUSTICE: The Texas-OU game will stay at the Cotton Bowl through 2015. Some Longhorn fans had hoped the game would be moved to Jerry's new stadium in Arlington. It might be easier to deal with defeat in a shiny new stadium
He claims to be a Longhorn, but for some reason has been on a recent trend of bashing the Horns. I have read a couple of his other blogs where he has said that Texas Football is on a downward motion?
I personally use to like the guy, but i have come to realize he is just another "idiot".
The Longhorns go 10-3 Under a New qb, and not we are on a downward spiral... Getting beat by both ou and aggy?
What is the deal with this current trend of Longhorns losing their "Cojones"?- (General Statment...)

Justice has always been an idiot who uses "shock lines" to draw in the lowest common denominator. Texas is 57-39-5 in the RRS. The numbers speak form themselves.
Texas was considering a move to Jerryworld for the same reason Joe Castiglione had openly said Mobilhoma was considering a move to Jerryworld... $$$. Let's be honest, the RRS isn't staying at the Cotton Bowl through 2015 because of Fletcher's Corn Dogs. The RRS is staying because the city of Dallas upped the payout and has made a pledge to go through with phase 2 of the renovations that will bring in more club seats and increase seating capacity to 92,000 thus creating more ticket revenue.

I like some of his stuff, just nothing on the horns. He is just another Delusional Reporter.

He had to muster up some serious courage to claim that UT wanted to move the game to hide in defeat. He was either joking or ********.

There are quite a few people it seems pronouncing the Texas program done, as far as playing for national championships, without Vince Young. They've returned to the Bash Mack parade. It's amazing how conveniently people forget that Texas was 9-1 with Colt McCoy 100%, and very likely would have played for the National Championship instead of Florida had McCoy not been injured against Kansas State. It was projected Texas would leap frog Florida in the computers if they won out. Texas will be much better this season if they get the secondary squared away.

I think that are secondary will be the key to how well the defense preforms, we definitely have the talent. And i have no doubt that our coaches can get them ready for this. The TCU game should be a good indicator on how well they will preform in the latter months of the season.

wait, wait, wait... Richard Justice is stupid simply because he's written a couple of anti-horn articles? holyyyy crap. I could understand somebody saying he sucks, but come on, he's entitled to his opinion on what college he likes.
Give me some other proof before calling him "an idiot."

It would be difficult for Texas to contend for the NC with that schedule. Did Justice predict that they'll lose to OU and A&M? I think he might be right.

You wanna join the ranks of justice?
Thats clearly absurd. Their is no indication that Texas is on going into dark years without Vince Young. They were able to win 10 games with a Red-shirt Freshman QB...Who was injured the last 1 of the games and not even close to 70% during the A&M game. If not the injury to Kansas...We may have very well been in the NC.
Texas Will field a very explosive Offense with a lot of Experience at the WR position. Chiles will probably get some package plays...and we have a stable of Backs that can get the job done. The O-line is young, but i am confident they will Gel in time for Conference play.
A&M loss was a hiccup.
But i guess ill just have to wait tell T+1 to tell you i told you so.

You don't think the schedule is going to be a problem?

We will probably be ranked somewhere around 6-8 already in the polls.. You equate a at least 1 Upset... Plus Texas beating OU, A&M, TCU, and a Big 12 Championship and a NC is very possible. Its not really even a stretch. The Big 12 will be better then it was last and Okie light, and Tech may be ranked which would only help Texas...who i think can go undefeated this season. Are we Facing someone of tOSU Stature...no. But are Schedule is strong enough for us to Sneak into a NC title.
