I knew this would come.
"I know I am an idiot, but my employer is wrong for holding me accountable for what I do in public"
At my job, if I get so much as a speeding ticket, I must report it to my boss(for insurance purposes, mainly.) In a public relations driven job like the NFL, I can hardly imagine calling the boss on Monday, " Oh by the way one of the guys in my posse shot some bodyguard dude that was hassling me Saturday night." Then the boss says, " Don't worry, it'll blow over."

Yea, he says , "I think it was a little bit harsh," Jones said. "I expected the suspension, but for a whole year for a guy that hadn't been charged with nothing? I really didn't agree with it."
Hey fella, you were involved in a triple shooting, in a strip club, that left a man paralysed. Chances are you will be charged with something.

I could see a brush with the law, maybe two, three if you had really bad luck - but that's about a months' worth for Jones.

Why doesn't Pacman find a job where he can get into this much legal trouble and they *only* suspend him for a year.

Pacman, there's a great word out there and it's called....accountability.
Look it up before you completely throw your life away.

at first besides the shooting event at the club i didnt know what the big deal was with pacman, then come to find out that was only one of 10 other off the field incidents with the law, pacman its time to accept the consequences of your actions, you would think a person with the salary of his could atleast stay out of trouble

1.way past time to be accountable
2. proves once again, money doesn't buy character, or happiness.

No, with a salary like that it means "You will RESPECT me" and "I can do whatever I want too because I'm Pacman and I'm a NFL player." That means I'm above the Law and you cant do anything to me.

the thing that pisses me off... this dude is a complete loser, yet even if he NEVER plays another game, he still (at the moment) has more money than I will EVER have... makes me sick
by the way, i dont mind athletes getting paid as much as they do - most of them are amazing athletes and many are class acts... but this guys a loser, hence my anger

He is lucky that Cop didnt blow his head off. I would of lodged a piece of "hot metal" right between his eyes if he tried that on me.;)

I have to say this again fellas...
Pac-Man allegedly ran a 4.19 at West Virginia...you would think that he could have ran away from at least one of these incidents.
More proof that 40 times are all BS!:D

Ya, but I think there is a large number of them that do. Not just in football but in almost all Pro sports. Especially the big 3 (football, basketball and baseball).

I think there's that "silent majority" that are pretty good. And we just always hear about the bad 2%.
