Good.

:D

Plus, I like the fact that kickoffs are on the 30 yard line and the play clock drops to 15 seconds after a TV timeout.

Changing the rules in the first place was a silly thing to do, except that the tv networks wanted more time-outs for advertising. Well, they still got their advertising time by picking up 15 seconds on every tv time out. That can amount to two or three minutes of additional commercial time during a game. Plus, I still am unsure as to why we are so worried about reducing the impact of the "foot" from the game. However, if the kickoff is to be from the 30, so be it.

Why do you think I'm happy?

I'm also a Cougar fan and it helps me in that regard, too. Since Fisher DeBerry retired, I don't know what Air Force will run now for an offense.

I was going to Houston games with the Run and Shoot and go to Tech games. If I'm going to drive hundreds of miles to see these teams, I don't care how long the games last.

Sports really have a problem with the "Beautiful People" that go for show and to be seen. They're always in a hurry to leave and I ask why they even go to sports events to start with.

The guys on the local sports radio station drive me crazy. They always talk about getting to go to games, say a Mavs game, and they get there at the end of the first quarter and leave mid-third quarter to miss the traffic. I don't know how they call themselves sports guys and not want to stay and watch the whole game, while a guy like me would love to get a ticket to go to the game....and stay to watch the whole game.
