Bledsoe had an above average career... I think its good that he finally calls it quits... even though he really couldn't cut it with the Cowboys he always had a good attitude and I appreciate what he did for Americas Team...

Well above average....he took his team to the Super Bowl one year and played a crucial role in getting his team to the SB in the 2001 AFC Championship. He will finish as the NFL's 7th leading all time passer.
It was time to hang 'em up, but the guy has had a stellar career.

Smart move on his part. To bad Favre doesn't do the same thing.

I never really payed much attention to bledsoe
and I find it hard to believe that he was 1nce a first overall pick in draft back in his time.
Well I'm glad that he retired. The guy was a statue in the pocket.

Maybe he can get a job standing in front of the stadium...you know posing like he's about to throw the ball...standing really still for hours at a time. I think he would do an awesome job.

Well, all you hear about is how he performed here in Dallas. Truth is, is that Bledsoe was actually a pretty good quarterback when he was in his prime. He lost the job at New England because of Mo Lewis. But, later on that same season, Bledsoe led the Patriots to a victory over the Steelers in Pittsburgh in the AFC title game when Brady got hurt. His stint in Buffalo? I don't think anybody could've done well for the Bills during that time. As for his stint in Dallas, the fact is that Bledsoe was already washed up when he got here. He was done before he his stint in Buffalo ended, but, he wanted to go out a winner. Unfortunately for him, it didn't go that way.
