It's a small paragraph in the sports section of the Dallas Morning News! It's reported that Wasson will have one year of eligibility left, and he should be joining the Sooners in time to walk-on and compete for the starting quarterback spot.

I think he got screwed at TXState, I hope he does well at OU.

Well that's great for McElroy. I was associating success with winning lots of games, but just having the opportunity to play college ball and get a free education is a success in itself.

Chase has a good chance to start at a inside slot receiver.Thats what I've been told.:D

I think the main reason for going to OU is to finish out his undergraguate degree and finish up his Masters there. If he gets any playing time that would just be a bonus. Chase is a very smart player which has always been his advantage. His size will definitely be a factor at OU regardless of football savy. That being said...time will tell if he has a chance to contribute, be it at QB or any other position.

A game I'd like to see would be Mizzou vs Alabama in a year or so. A Daniel/McElroy matchup would be absolutely outstanding. I'll be pulling for Wasson to surprise everyone and land the job and waiting for this matchup too.
