No way. You have to "nut up" and act like an idiot or else you're some kind of traitor. You can't just relax for a while. You have to be in d*ck mode 24/7.

I'm trying to play Jade Empire, but have had to lock some threads certain to blow up. I like to put fires out before they get crazy. I've been doing this long enough now to know volatile threads when I see them.

or you could just post several paragraphs about how you're "emotionally unstable" to a group of f'n strangers...and finally in your pathetic life feel as though you have a peer group that cares about you.

Lord have mercy on jtk...he knows not what he does.

I'm invoking the Farmer Rule. Come back in the morning when you haven't been hitting the cough medicine.

I'm not going to let you have a go at posters like that. Enough is enough. If it continues after that, it'll go permanent and no amount of e-mails, PMs, or attempted logins under new names will change it.

I'll admit that I have taken things too far and too personally before, but that was below the belt and you know it. And all because I said I didn't want to pick on the Ags for a while. If that's the way it is, then that's the way it is.

I have been waiting for a thread like this I think kt locks a lot of threads that do not need to be locked

I have been waiting for a thread like this I think kt locks a lot of threads that do not need to be locked

Any specific examples? Again, I'd like to think I've been reading this stuff long enough to know when a thread is done, or quickly heading that direction.

I will let certain threads go, but some don't warrant that. The direction they are going is very clear.

I cant give an example because they are gone....its not a bad thing you lock threads but there are ones that peopole are having a convo on that just dont need to be locked. If it turnes into something bad the let it then lock it and erase the thread but give it chance at first. thats just what I think but its your board i dont make the rules

I am impressed. I like they way you have handled this situation. You have more respect for staying above the fray. IMO

I think being a moderator is a tough position. I also believe that the mods on here do a good job keeping things in perspective. If a thread gets deleted or locked then move on. Don't whine about it.
