i had a friend who went to OK every weekend since i knew him when i first moved here my 5th grade year of elementary school i even went up there once as a kid with him and it was ok. Went again Went with him again during his 17 year old birthday along with others just amazing how people love to disrespect you cause your from another state. Even though Californians are on the top of the list they think their own crap dont stink.

well if i was an Oklahoman (is that right?) it be pretty jealous of a Texan too.

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't trying to say that OK was in any shape or form better than Texas, because I have first hand experience right there...I'm just saying OKC itself is a nice town.

Disrespect you because you're from another state? I like Texas but they are among the top 3 states when it comes to looking down on others for no reason. I'd say California or New York could be the only two to top it.

I'm surprised A-Town (Abilene) didn't turn up for me, because I really like Abilene. Big cities, I'd have to go San Antonio, Houston, then...overseas.

Also, where's el valle. You know that some places in the RGV are on my list.

Yep, many times. There are drawbacks to be sure, but for the most part I like the climate and the people and it is only a short drive away from some fantastic summer and winter recreation spots.

That's a nation-wide problem, not just a Texas problem. Unfortunately, Texas can boast several counties that are among the poorest in the nation, with accompanying problems.
