1)
Oakland Raiders - JaMarcus Russell, QB
http://www.vandymania.com/photos/stan/2005/LSU5.jpg

2nd Round: Sidney Rice, WR (33rd pick)
3rd Round: Josh Beekman, OG (65th Pick)
4th Round: Turk McBride, DT (96th Pick)
5th Round: Mike Walker, WR (128th Pick)
5th Round: Jay Alford, DT (155th Pick)
6th Round: Dwayne Wright, RB (160th Pick)
7th Round: Selvin Young, RB (192nd Pick)

Overall: Heard a rumor about Oakland still wanting Plummer so that he could groom Russell. If true, that's ok...if not, no sweat. I think the additions of Russell and Rice may be a tale-tell sign, for Moss. Personally, I think Randy is a Packer or Patriot, come the 2007 season. At 6'6 260 lbs, Russell could wind up far more productive than Daunte Culppeper, which would be awesome. Beekman and McBride are solid picks that could look to be solid, perhaps better, o-linemen. Walker is a speedy WR, and Alford is productive, though undersized. Wright and Young could be solid players or 1-n-done NFL'ers.

2)
Detroit Lions - Joe Thomas, OT
http://media.scout.com/Media/Image/25/259582.jpg

2nd Round: Trent Edwards, QB (34th Pick)
3rd Round: Tanard Jackson, CB (66th Pick)
4th Round: Kolby Smith, RB (97th Pick)
5th Round: Garrett Wolfe, RB/WR/Return Man (129th Pick)
5th Round: Mike Otto, OT (135th Pick)
5th Round: Ryan Smith, CB (144th Pick)
5th Round: Darius Walker, RB (148th Pick)

Overall: Honestly, if this were to happen, I'd think of it as Detroit's best draft since..."who knows?". Joe Thomas was superb at the combine, and as a Badger. Edwards and Jackson are potentially excellent picks. Both have the pro-typical qualities to suceed. Kolby, Garrett, Mike, Ryan and Darius are all potential impact players. Wolfe has split/return-man written all over his resume. Walker could prove to be an excellent pick-up, especially considering most NFL teams are using dual threats/tandems. Kolby and Darius could be successful in that mold.

3)
New York Jets - Calvin Johnson, WR
http://www.4shotsports.com/artman/uploads/05fb_ncstategatech_calvinjohnson.jpg
Traded 25th Overall Pick to Cleveland Browns, giving up (2007) 37th and 89th Picks.

2nd Round: Kenny Irons, RB (59th Pick)
5th Round: C.J. Ah You, DE (154th Pick)
6th Round: Dan Santucci, OG (162nd Pick)

Overall: Here's the head-scratcher. Why in the world would the Jets give up 1 of their 2nd Rounders and a 3rd Rounder, for a WR...when they still have Coles and Cotchery? Why? Because neither is a #1 WR. They both are 5'11'ish and 195 lbs. In the case of a 6'5 240 lb (4.3 40yd) Calvin Johnson, you have the overall best player in the Draft, at WR. Kenny Irons, who was once thought to be a Top 15 Pick a year ago, will be available in the 2nd Round and so will Tony Hunt. C.J. Ah You and Dan are both stable and solid picks in the 5th and 6th Rounds. If Chad goes down, keep Plummer's phone number on speed-dial.

4)
Tampa Bay - Robert Meachem, WR
http://staugustine.com/images/091404/sports03.jpg

2nd Round: Darrelle Revis, CB (35th Pick)
2nd Round: Charles Johnson, DE (64th Pick)
3rd ROund: Marcus Thomas, DT (68th Pick)
4th Round: Ben Patrick, FB/TE (98th Pick)
5th Round: Dallas Baker, WR (131st Pick)
7th Round: Isaiah Stanback, WR/QB (195th Pick)

Overall: Another head-scratcher...or is it? I love this kid. At 6'2 1/2 218 lbs he can fly at a 4.3 and arguably has just as good of hands as Calvin. Meachem is a Top 10 in my book. Especially considering Tampa's need for a #1 WR. Revis is considered by some to be a solid late 1st Rounder. It's a still to get him early in the 2nd Round. Charles Johnson should've stayed in school, but since he didn't, he goes to the Bucs in the 3rd Round. Marcus and Ben are transitional players. Thomas could play D-End if need be and Ben could play FB at 6'3 252 lbs and a 4.6/4.7 40 yd dash. Dallas and Stanback are good size potential bust or boom players. I think they're both work a look.

5)
Arizona Cardinals - Gaines Adams, DE

2nd Round: Tony Ugoh, OT (38th PicK)
3rd Round: Marshal Yanda, OG (69th Pick)
4th Round: Josh Gattis, S (101st Pick)
5th Round: Tim Duckworth, OG (132nd Pick)
7th Round: Stanley Doughty, DT (196th Pick)

Overall: Gaines Adams is a monster DE. Great Pick. Tony and Yanda are icing on the cake. Gattis and Duckworth are solid picks, while Stanley is a typical bust or boom. At 330 lbs and only 6'1, lets hope he doesn't eat his way out of the NFL. Then again, he could become another "Fridge" or Gerald "The Gravedigger" Brown.

6)
Washington Redskins - Jamaal Anderson, DE

5th Round: Ikaika Alama-Francis, DE (133rd Pick)
6th Round: Marvin White, S (164th Pick)
7th Round: Corey Graham, CB (197th Pick)

Overall: Not many picks available for the Skins. Jamaal is an excellent pick-up, as well as Francis. Marvin White out of TCU and Graham should be solid picks, but their primarily a bust or boom.

7)
Minnesota Vikings - Brady Quinn, QB

2nd Round: Michael Bush, RB (41st Pick)
3rd Round: Paul Williams, WR (72nd Pick)
4th Round: Jacoby Jones, WR (102nd Pick)
5th Round: Mkristo Bruce, DE (136th Pick)
6th Round: Mike Jones, OG (167th Pick)
7th Round: Alonzo Coleman, RB (198th Pick)

Overall: This would make sense to me. Quinn, Bush and Williams? Whoa! Excellent Top 3 selection. All 3 possess perennial-Pro Bowl potential. Jones is a speedy acquistion, while Bruce is a very productive DE. Jones and Coleman are potential only.

8)
Houston Texans - Adrian Peterson, RB

2nd Round: Craig Davis, WR (39th Pick)
3rd Round: Justin Harrell, DT (73rd Pick)
4th Round: Jonathan Wade, CB (103rd Pick)
5th Round: Herbert Taylor, OT/OG (134th Pick)
6th Round: Corey Hilliard, OT (168th Pick)
7th Round: Jared Zabransky, QB (199th Pick)

Overall: Not a head-scratcher here. With Green coming onboard to help in maturing Peterson, and the addition of a 6'2 222 lb Craig Davis (4.4/4.5 speed), the Texans would rebound, from last years' debacle of a Draft. Both Wade and Taylor are very solid picks. Hilliard and Zabransky are typical potential players. I like Zabranskys' blue-collar tough mindset and Hilliard is a sleeping dragon.

9)
Miami Dolphins - Dwayne Bowe, WR

2nd Round: John Beck, QB (40th Pick)
3rd Round: Earl Everett, LB (71st Pick)
4th Round: Eric Wright, CB (104th Pick)
6th Round: Stephen Nichols, LB (166th Pick)
6th Round: Jacob Ford, DE (183rd Pick)
7th ROund: Jordan Kent, WR (200th Pick)

Overall: Gotta love the first 5 picks. Bowe and Beck are superb choices. Wright is SPEED at the CB position, which is needed. Everett has been ripped apart due to a slow 40 time. He has excellent skill and a tenacious playing style. Ford is a solid pick, while Kent is interesting. He is a speedy 6'4 1/2 225 lb WR that can run a 4.4 40 yd dash. He doesn't have great numbers considering he didn't have a prolific QB passing to him, and he was a 3-sport athlete. And the fact that at just 21 he played his first season of football, ever, for the Ducks. Superb athlete. Could develop into a small TE. Has some nice hands.

10)
Atlanta Falcons - Dwayne Jarrett, WR

2nd Round: Eric Weddle, S (44th Pick)
3rd Round: Rufus Alexander, LB (75th Pick)
4th Round: Laurant Robinson, WR (105th Pick)
4th Round: Kareem Brown, DT (117th Pick)
5th Round: Lorenzo Booker, RB (139th Pick)
6th Round: Danny Ware, RB (170th Pick)

Overall: The Falcons could seriously upgrade their WR arsenal - or "cough", lack thereof. Jarrett, though thought to be a 4.6 40-runner, has the football-field speed, athleticism, hands and comfort I desire in a #1 WR. I think he's definitely a better package than Mike Williams. Eric Weddle will definitely improve the secondary, while Rufus will be a still in the 3rd Round. Does he run a 4.8 40 yd dash, yes...but has he also been the most consistant and dominant LB of the Big XII, in the last 2 yrs? Yes. Robinson is SPEED and a sleeper still, IMO. Brown, Booker and Ware are all potential bust or boom athletes.

11)
San Francisco 49ers - LaRon Landry, S

2nd Round: David Harris, LB (42nd Pick)
3rd Round: Tim Crowder, DE (76th Pick)
4th Round: Yamon Figurs, WR/Return Man (100th Pick)
4th Round: Brandon Mebane, DT (106th Pick)
4th Round: Brandon Myles, WR (120th Pick)
5th Round: A.J. Davis, CB (137th Pick)
6th Round: Jayson Swain, WR (171st Pick)

Overall: If this happens for SF, it will be a great day. Landry is a monster. You just don't pass him up. 6'1 220 lbs and a 4.3 40. Hits like a freight. David Harris and Tim Crowder are both overly aggressive playmakers. Exciteable. Yamon is a 4.2 electrifying athlete. Unknown and a potential Dante Hall. Mebane, Myles, Davis and Swain are all potential solid NFL'ers.

12)
Buffalo Bills - Patrick Willis, LB

2nd Round: Greg Olsen, TE (43rd Pick)
3rd Round: Doug Datish, C/OG (74th Pick)
4th Round: Tyler Palko, QB (107th Pick)
6th Round: Chase Johnson, OT (169th Pick)
7th Round: Johnathan Holland, WR (203rd Pick)

Overall: Gotta love the first 2 picks. Patrick Willis and Greg Olsen are potential perennial-Pro Bowlers. Doug is a solid pick that can play C/OG, if need be. The acquisition of Dockery will most likely sure-up the o-line problems. Tyler Palko is a great QB, who just happened to play on a not-so-great college team, for the last 2 or 3 yrs. Johnson and Holland are potential
sleepers.

13)
St. Louis Rams - Buster Davis, LB

2nd Round: Jarvis Moss, DE (52nd Pick)
3rd Round: Baraka Atkins, DE (82nd Pick)
4th Round: Josh Wilson, CB (113th Pick)
5th Round: Ryan McBean, DT (138th Pick)
6th Round: Kenny Scott, CB (175th Pick)
7th Round: Chandler Williams, WR (206th Pick)

Overall: I like the pick. Buster is explosive. However, Moss and Baraka are just as productive. Josh, Ryan and Kenny round out a superb draft for defense, on the part of the Rams. Williams, though undersized, is a 4.3/4.4 WR, with solid hands. Could develop into a solid return guy.

14)
Carolina Panthers - Michael Griffin, S

2nd Round: Zach Miller, TE (45th Pick)
3rd Round: Johnnie Lee Higgins, WR (83rd Pick)
4th Round: Chris Leak, QB (114th Pick)
5th Round: David Clowney, WR (145th Pick)
6th Round: Tim Shaw, DE/OLB (176th Pick)
7th Round: Chinedum Ndukwe, S (207th Pick)

Overall: Nice Draft, overall. Griffin and Miller have both been thought of to be solid 1st Rounders, for a year now. Higgins is a solid 4.4 guy. He's a Steve Smith (Panthers). He doesn't have flash speed, but he's got some wheels....but the main thing, he's got EXCELLENT hands. Leak, Clowney,
Shaw and Ndukwe are potential contributors with high ceilings.

15)
Pittsburgh Steelers - Leon Hall, CB

2nd Round: Brandon Siler, LB (46th Pick)
3rd Round: Anthony Spencer, DE (77th Pick)
4th Round: Chris Henry, RB (115th Pick)
5th Round: D'Juan Woods, WR (146th Pick)
6th Round: Daniel Sepulveda, P (177th Pick)
7th Round: Mike Richardson, CB (208th Pick)

Overall: I love the first 3 Picks. Hall, a 4.3 guy, has silenced critics who questioned his speed. He will be a mainstay with the Steelers. Siler and Spencer are both excellent additions to the Steeler defense. Potential Pro Bowlers. Chris Henry is intriguing, he's 6'2 232 lbs and runs a 4.3 40 yd. He's a load to bring down, but he doesn't have the spit blood mentality. And his
production is questionable. As a 4th Round Pick, he's project with size and speed. Woods may have as good'a hands as any WR in the Draft. If he had the 4.4/4.3 speed and star-flash, he'd be a late 2nd Round Pick.

16)
Green Bay Packers - Marshawn Lynch, RB

2nd Round: Daymeion Hughes, CB (47th Pick)
3rd Round: Quentin Moses, DE (78th Pick)
4th Round: Scott Chandler, TE (108th Pick)
5th Round: Legedu Naanee, WR (147th Pick)
6th Round: Tony Taylor, LB (178th Pick)
7th Round: John Stocco, QB (209th Pick)
7th Round: Courtney Lewis, RB (216th Pick)

Overall: I think Randy Moss is going to be a Packer, next year. Imagine, Favre, Lynch, Moss and Chandler as your offensive threats. Sounds good to me. Daymeion Hughes, though hurt by a 4.6 40 yd is still an excellent pick, and Moses in the 3rd Round is a steal. Naanee, Taylor, Stocco and Lewis are a dice roll. But I think at least 2 or the 4 will be future contributors.

17)
Jacksonville Jaguars - Justin Blalock, OG

2nd Round: Lawrence Timmons, LB (48th Pick)
3rd Round: LaMarr Woodley, DE/LB (79th Pick)
4th Round: Sabby Piscitelli, S/OLB (109th Pick)
5th Round: Aaron Rouse, S (140th Pick)
6th Round: Andrew Carnahan, OT (179th Pick)
7th Round: Adam Podlesh, P (210th Pick)

Overall: This a blessing in disguise for the Jags. If they were smarter, they'd pick-up LaVar Arrington, as well. Blalock is a future 12-15 yr perennial Pro-Bowler/All-Pro. Excellent size, speed, technique and power. Timmons is an excellent LB...for FSU. Woodley is a steal in the 3rd Round. Piscitelli, Rouse, Carnahan and Podlesh are future starters in the NFL. Mark my words.

18)
Cincinnati Bengals - Alan Branch, DT

2nd Round: Aaron Sears, OT (49th Pick)
4th Round: Antwan Barnes, LB (110th Pick)
5th Round: Xzavie Jackson, DE (141st Pick)
6th Round: Joe Newton, TE (172nd Pick)
7th Round: Stephon Heyer, OT (211th Pick)

Overall: Can't argue with the first 4 picks. Branch, a 6'6 330 lb destroyer of o-lines and Sears almost as good of a linemen as Blalock. Barnes and Jackson are excellent selections, as they are both transitional players. With Odell headed for the big house, there's a vacancy. Actually, there's more than one vacancy. Newton and Heyer are boom or bust.

19)
Tennessee Titans - Levi Brown, OT

2nd Round: Anthony Gonzalez, WR (50th Pick)
3rd Round: Brian Robison, DE/LB (80th Pick)
4th Round: Samson Satele, C (111th Pick)
4th Round: Steve Breaston, WR (124th Pick)
5th Round: Juwan Simpson, LB (142nd Pick)
6th Round: C.J. Wilson, CB (173rd Pick)
6th Round: Mike Mason, WR (189th Pick)
6th Round: Adam Koets, OT (191st Pick)
7th Round: Ramonce Taylor, RB/WR (204th Pick)

Overall: Levi is a franchise OT, while Gonzalez is a legitimate threat with 4.4 speed and the hands to go along with it. Brian is, as we should all know, a hell of a player...transitional as well. Satele, Breaston and Simpson are all future starters in the NFL. C.J. Wilson has some ability, but his mouth might mask that. Mason has good hands and speed and Koets has solid potential. Taylor is interesting, though I think he'll work well in a situation with he who is "VY". (A Texas thang!)

20)
New York Giants - Chris Houston, CB

2nd Round: Aundrae Allison, WR (51st Pick)
3rd Round: Doug Datish, C (81st Pick)
4th Round: DeShawn Wynn, RB (112th Pick)
5th Round: DeAndre Jackson, CB (143rd Pick)
6th Round: Matt Trannon, WR (174th Pick)
7th Round: Justin Vincent, RB (205th Pick)

Overall: Chris Houston is a shutdown CB. (Did it against Jarrett of USC, in 2006.) Allison is the SPEED WR and Datish is a superb center. Wynn is a steal, because he's much better than many will give him credit for. Reminds me of Frank Gore. (Without the fumbles.) Jackson was mentioned as a Top 10 DB, just a few yrs ago. He's a potential steal. Trannon is interesting. He's 6'6 220 lbs and can run a 4.5 40. He played with Stanton at Michigan State. He's got "IT" written all over him. As a freshman at LSU, Vincent posted jaw-dropping numbers, helping to lead LSU to a National Title. A few dozen injuries and 3 yrs later, he'd played himself out of the 2-Man rotating cycle. If healthy, I think he could be nearly a "Priest Holmes" reincarnation. (Though Holmes wasn't even Drafted.)

21)
Denver Broncos - Amobi Okoye, DT

2nd Round: John Wendling, S (56th Pick)
3rd Round: James Marten, OT (70th Pick)
3rd Round: DeMarcus Tyler, DT (86th Pick)
6th Round: Ray McDonald, DE (161st Pick)
7th Round: Onrea Jones, WR (214th Pick)

Overall: Every single pick is solid. The great thing is, they all have huge ceilings and could be in the NFL for quite some time, especially Okoye - who's only 19 yrs old. Wendling is big and fast. Reminds me of John Lynch. James Marten is a potentially excellent pick, to add depth at OT. Not huge, very agile and quick. Tank Tyler is a run-guy, McDonald slightly underachieved
at Florida. Ornea is a boom or bust.

22)
Dallas Cowboys - Brandon Merriweather, S

2nd Round: Manuel Ramirez, OG (52nd Pick)
3rd Round: Mason Crosby, K (87th Pick)
4th Round: Kyle Young, C/OG/OT (118th Pick)
5th Round: Tarell Brown, CB (149th Pick)
6th Round: Leroy Harris, C/OG (180th Pick)
6th Round: Drew Tate, QB (185th Pick)
7th Round: Chad Nkang, LB/S (193rd Pick)
7th Round: Daniel Inman, OT (215th Pick)
7th Round: Marquay McDaniel, WR (218th Pick)

Overall: The Boys worked their magic and will land 10 Draft picks this yr, so far. With Leonard Davis and possibly Joey Porter coming aboard, the drafting of Merriweather, Ramirez, Crosby, Young, Brown and Harris would headline an excellent off-season campaign. Putting Merriweather back there will Roy Williams would be catastrophic to any RB or WR, on a slant. Brandon can also COVER...which is what Dallas is definitely lacking. 6'4 330 lb Ramirez is a freakin' hoss. Reminiscent of Larry Allen. He benches 600 lbs and popped 225 40 times. Crosby is a blessing for the Boys. The best kicking prospect, period. Kyle Young is the most versatile of the linemen, this year. He played center, guard and tackle. At 6'5 330 lbs, he could be a heck of a guard, opposite of Manny. Brown messed his Draft status up by allowing former teammate Aaron Ross the opportunity to hog the limelight. Plus, he got into off-the-field trouble. Leroy is another high-potential athlete, could develop behind Gurode, or at a guard position. Tate, Nkang, Inman and McDaniel are all potential-based only. Tate could surprise many, and become a Jeff Garcia or Drew Brees type-player. (Don't be surprised if he does....or doesn't.)

23)
Kansas City Chiefs - Ryan Kalil, C

2nd Round: Steve Smith, WR (53rd Pick)
3rd Round: Courtney Taylor, WR (84th Pick)
5th Round: Mario Henderson, OT (150th Pick)
6th Round: Derek Landri, DT (181st Pick)
7th Round: Marquice Cole, CB (212th Pick)

Overall: Kalil is perfect for the Chiefs. He's a franchise CENTER...if there could be one. Steve Smith and Courtney Taylor are sleeper superb WR's. Henderson, Landri and Cole are all solid, but suspecting picks.

24)
New England Patriots - Ted Ginn Jr., WR
(from Seattle Seahawks)

2nd Round: Tony Hunt, RB (60th Pick)
3rd Round: Rhema McKnight, WR (91st Pick)
4th Round: Josh Gattis, S (123rd Pick)
6th Round: Stewart Bradley, LB (165th Pick)
6th Round: Dallas Sarz, LB (187th Pick)
7th Round: Clark Harris, TE (219th Pick)

Overall: I like these selections. Ginn...the speed needed at WR, McKnight has the size and potential at WR. Tony Hunt could make as the best selection for NE. Big, fast and physical. Gattis, Bradley, Sarz and Harris are solid/safe picks. And with the acquisition of Adalius Thomas and possibly Randy Moss, look for NE to come on strong, yet again.

25)
Cleveland Browns - Aaron Ross, CB
Traded 3rd Overall Pick to New York Jets, and acquired (2007) 37th and 89th Picks.

2nd Round: Jason Hill, WR (36th Pick)
2nd Round: Troy Smith, QB (37th Pick)
3rd Round: Andy Alleman, OG (67th Pick)
3rd Round: Dan Bazuin, DE (89th Pick)
4th Round: Prescott Burgess, LB (99th Pick)
5th Round: Paul Soliai, DT/NG (130th Pick)
6th Round: David Patterson, DT (163rd Pick)
7th Round: QuincY Black, LB (194th Pick)

Overall: 9 Picks, here. The trade of 22 spots down to 25, doesn't hurt as much as one would think. Cleveland lands Aaron Ross and Jason Hill...sure starters. They then get a proven winner and hometown hero QB Troy Smith. Alleman, of Akron, OHIO, and Bazuin are solid productive players. Prescot Burgess hurt himself after running nearly as slow as a 5.0 40 yd. Plus, his last yr at Michigan fizzled out at the end of the season. Personally, I think he's a SUPERB steal. Paul, David and Quincy are all solid starters in the NFL.

26)
Philadelphia Eagles - Reggie Nelson, S

2nd Round: Adam Carriker, DE (57th Pick)
3rd Round: Joel Filani, WR (90th Pick)
5th Round: Anthony Waters, LB (152nd Pick)
6th Round: Chris Denman, OT (186th Pick)
7th Round: Martrez Milner, TE (217th Pick)

Overall: Every single pick is potentially a starter, if not more, in the NFL. Phili needs to work out the WR situation. Nelson and Carriker are solid NFL starters, with Pro Bowl potential. Filani has been talked about as a 2nd Round pick, as early as late last season. He has height and the technique needed to be an excellent choice. A steal. Waters, Denman and Milner are potential bust or boom pick-ups. Phili may need to get in talks for some WR FA's. (Moss?)

27)
New Orleans Saints - Quinn Pitcock, DT

2nd Round: Justin Durant, LB (58th Pick)
3rd Round: Fred Bennett, CB (88th Pick)
4th Round: David Irons, CB (119th Pick)
4th Round: David Ball, WR (121st Pick)
4th Round: Chansi Stuckey, WR (122nd Pick)
5th Round: Zak DeOssie, LB (153rd Pick)
6th Round: Daren Stone, S (184th Pick)
7th Round: Justin Hickman, DE (201st Pick)

Overall: Every single selection has PRODUCTIVITY written all over it. Pitcock, Durant, Bennett and Irons could see starting time, as rookies. Ball and Stuckey are solid speedy picks, much under-appreciated. DeOssie is a solid NFL pick. Production. Stone and Hickman could surprise a few doubters.

29)
Baltimore Ravens - Drew Stanton, QB

2nd Round: Antonio Pittman, RB (61st Pick)
3rd Round: Ryan Harris, OT (92nd Pick)
5th Round: Aaron Fairooz, WR (156th Pick)
6th Round: Ryne Robinson, WR (188th Pick)
7th Round: John Talley, CB (220th Pick)

Overall: Drew Stanton is a gem, guys. He has the size, power, technique and smarts to play the game. He's unfortunately been the only light in a house of darkness, at MSU. If you bring Jamaal back...great. Either way, I still draft Pittman as a late 2nd Round or early 3rd ROund Pick. Harris, Fairooz, Robinson and Talley are all solid/safe picks.

30)
San Diego Chargers - H.B. Blades, LB

2nd Round: Victor Abiamiri, DE (62nd Pick)
3rd Round: Jarrett Hicks, WR (93rd Pick)
4th Round: Gabe Hall, OT/OG (125th Pick)
5th Round: Brandon Frye, OT/OG (157th Pick)
7th Round: Gerald Alexander, S (221st Pick)

Overall: Donnie Edwards may be gone, but in comes H.B Blades. Superb LB. Victor is a gem, sitting in the 2nd Round. Hicks and Hall are both solid Texans that will definitely contribute. Frye and Alexander are potential-based, only.

31)
Chicago Bears - Paul Posluszny, LB

2nd Round: Kevin Kolb, QB (63rd Pick)
3rd Round: Allen Barbre, OT (94th Pick)
4th Round: Brandon Jackson, RB (126th Pick)
5th Round: Michael Coe, CB/S (158th Pick)
6th Round: Scott Stephenson, OG/C (190th Pick)
7th Round: Michael Allan, TE (202nd Pick)
7th Round: Ken Shackleford, OG (222nd Pick)

Overall: Gotta love the first 3 picks. Posluszny, Kolb and Barbre should make immediate impacts with the Bears. Jackson and Coe are excellent and tough players, with high ceilings. Though Brandon may be a little short. Stephenson and Allan are solid/safe picks. Potential. Shackleford is an enormous gem. 6'6 335 lbs.

32)
Indianapolis Colts - Marcus McCauley, CB

3rd Round: Jon Beason, LB (95th Pick)
4th Round: Keith Jackson, DT (127th Pick)
5th Round: Ola Dagunduro, DT (159th Pick)
7th Round: Dustin Fry, C/OG (223rd Pick/Mr. Irrelevent)

Overall: Marcus, Jon and Keith will make immediate impacts. Excellent players. Ola and Fry are potential-based only.

--------

Seattle Seahawks (Seahawks do not have have a 1st Round Pick)

2nd Round: Joe Staley, OT (55th Pick)
3rd Round: Brian Leonard, FB (85th Pick)
4th Round: Kasey Studdard, OG (116th Pick)
5th Round: Matt Spaeth, TE (151st Pick)
6th Round: Kevin Payne, S (182nd Pick)
7th Round: Jonny Harline, TE (213th Pick)

Overall: Excellent draft. Staley, Leonard and Studdard should be immediate contributors. Spaeth, Payne and Harline will be future contributors. Solid/safe picks.

Holy HELL...so that's where TGO has been....compiling that list of course.
Good to see you back brotha....and Hook 'em.

Haha! Actually, the list only took a few days. Research.

Good to be back.

TGO, you said about 50-60 draft picks in there are going to be "starters." Uh......

50-60 might be starters. There is more of a cycle in depth being played today. Eventually, 50-60 of these guys could be starters. Hell, just 10-15 of them are WR's. Haha!

no way Robert Meachems worth a 4th round pick

I'm lost bro. You mean, he's not a Top 5 pick? Personally, I think he's almost as good as Calvin Johnson. Excellent hands, size, speed and ambition.

Projection, bro. None of this is real, of course. I just thought it may be worth it to solidify a #1 WR, that Chad can count on. And with Thomas Jones and Kenny Irons in the backfield, the Jets could be VERY SOLID, on offense.

Dwayne Jarrett will/is plummeting.

He's falling alseep, sweating/dreaming about a 4.6/4.7 40 yard dash. I'm really hoping he doesn't fade like Mike Williams. What's the deal with the USC WR's?

Ultimately...
Steve Smith may come out as the better USC WR, ex-opposite Dwayne.

Truthfully, there aren't THAT many solid draft picks (if any) at 5th, 6th and 7th Round, regarding O-LINEMEN.

Two words...
Free Agency! Haha!

I have it on good word the Texans will select Vince Young. Hmmmm, he came out last year Houston - thanks - go back to sucking.

I thought lineman were always in the lower rounds? I think there may be some competition from within. Like Mike Pucillo or resigning Todd Wade.

I thought lineman were always in the lower rounds? I think there may be some competition from within. Like Mike Pucillo or resigning Todd Wade.

Linemen are funny. I've met some people who thought a good or even solid o-lineman should be easy to find. The perception is that linemen are big and usually non-athletic...so what's so hard about getting a solid or good one? That couldn't be further from the truth. A solid or average o-lineman (like my pal, Derrick Dockery) still needs to have solid "technique" and athleticism. Dockery is a 5.4/5.5 guy in the 40 yd dash. He benches about 500 lbs (not overly powerful) and does not have very impressive field-quick. However, he's a massive run-blocker who can blanket smaller d-linemen and has solid technique in pass blocking. He's a good/big kid, that is loved by his HC and teammates. And even with all of the attributes (for/against) of the 6'6 355 pounder, Dockery isn't a $50 Million Dollar guy. (Nowhere near that!) If he were being drafted today, he'd still be a 3rd Rounder, just like when he came out. With that said, guys that are usually drafted lower are more likely to not see success.

There are exceptions, like my friend Brian Waters, in KC. He was undrafted in 1999, and was subsequently cut - as a FA - by the Cowboys. He was picked up a year later by the Chiefs, sent over seas to NFL Europe and when he came back, in 2001, he ripped away an OG position - and hasn't looked back. He's now on a streak as a solid Pro-Bowler/All-Pro OG. Very RARE exception.

That said...
I think that Dallas could be in good shape with a OT-Leonard Davis (6'8 350lbs), OT-Marc Columbo (6-8 325 lbs), OG-Manuel Ramirez (6'4 335 lbs), OG-Kyle Young (6-5 330 lbs) and C-Aundre Gurode (6'4 318 lbs) on the line. But, look at the big picture....all of these linemen are 1st Round, 2nd Round or 3rd Round players.(Kyle - who I projected going to Dallas in the 4th Round - is a STEAL, and should be drafted sooner/3rd Round.)

In light of the Jets/Bears Thomas trade, I've made changes in my Draft board. Cleveland keeps its' seat with the 3rd Pick...

1)
Oakland Raiders - JaMarcus Russell, QB

2nd Round: Sidney Rice, WR (33rd pick)
3rd Round: Josh Beekman, OG (65th Pick)
4th Round: Turk McBride, DT (96th Pick)
5th Round: Mike Walker, WR (128th Pick)
5th Round: Jay Alford, DT (155th Pick)
6th Round: Dwayne Wright, RB (160th Pick)
7th Round: Selvin Young, RB (192nd Pick)

Overall: Heard a rumor about Oakland still wanting Plummer so that he could groom Russell. If true, that's ok...if not, no sweat. I think the additions of Russell and Rice may be a tale-tell sign, for Moss. Personally, I think Randy is a Packer or Patriot, come the 2007 season. At 6'6 260 lbs, Russell could wind up far more productive than Daunte Culppeper, which would be awesome. Beekman and McBride are solid picks that could look to be solid, perhaps better, o-linemen. Walker is a speedy WR, and Alford is productive, though undersized. Wright and Young could be solid players or 1-n-done NFL'ers.

2)
Detroit Lions - Joe Thomas, OT

2nd Round: Trent Edwards, QB (34th Pick)
3rd Round: Tanard Jackson, CB (66th Pick)
4th Round: Kolby Smith, RB (97th Pick)
5th Round: Garrett Wolfe, RB/WR/Return Man (129th Pick)
5th Round: Mike Otto, OT (135th Pick)
5th Round: Ryan Smith, CB (144th Pick)
5th Round: Darius Walker, RB (148th Pick)

Overall: Honestly, if this were to happen, I'd think of it as Detroit's best draft
since..."who knows?".

3)
Cleveland Browns - Brady Quinn, QB

2nd Round: Marcus McCauley, CB (36th Pick)
3rd Round: Prescott Burgess, LB (67th Pick)
4th Round: Lorenzo Booker, RB (99th Pick)
5th Round: Paul Soliai, DT/NG (130th Pick)
6th Round: David Patterson, DT (163rd Pick)
7th Round: QuincY Black, LB (194th Pick)

Overall: Solid picks. Quinn, arguably the best QB in the Draft has plenty of potential. Marcus, Prescott, Lorenzo and Paul have excellent chances of being solid starters. Especially Marcus. Patterson and Black are players that I think can productive.

4)
Tampa Bay - Calvin Johnson, WR

2nd Round: Justin Blalock, OG (35th Pick)
2nd Round: Charles Johnson, DE (64th Pick)
3rd ROund: Marcus Thomas, DT (68th Pick)
4th Round: Ben Patrick, FB/TE (98th Pick)
5th Round: Dallas Baker, WR (131st Pick)
7th Round: Isaiah Stanback, WR/QB (195th Pick)

Overall: Tampa looks to get their man. Calvin Johnson is the best athlete and player in the NFL Draft. Blalock is a future 12-15 yr perennial Pro-Bowler/All-Pro. Excellent size, speed, technique and power.Charles Johnson should've stayed in school, but since he didn't, he goes to the Bucs in the 3rd Round. Marcus and Ben are transitional players. Thomas could play D-End if need be and Ben could play FB at 6'3 252 lbs and a 4.6/4.7 40 yd dash. Dallas and Stanback are good size potential bust or boom players. I think they're both work a look.

5)
Arizona Cardinals - Gaines Adams, DE

2nd Round: Tony Ugoh, OT (38th PicK)
3rd Round: Marshal Yanda, OG (69th Pick)
4th Round: Josh Gattis, S (101st Pick)
5th Round: Tim Duckworth, OG (132nd Pick)
7th Round: Stanley Doughty, DT (196th Pick)

Overall: Gaines Adams is a monster DE. Great Pick. Tony and Yanda are icing on the cake. Gattis and Duckworth are solid picks, while Stanley is a typical bust or boom. At 330 lbs and only 6'1, lets hope he doesn't eat his way out of the NFL. Then again, he could become another "Fridge" or Gerald "The Gravedigger" Brown.

6)
Washington Redskins - Jamaal Anderson, DE

5th Round: Ikaika Alama-Francis, DE (133rd Pick)
6th Round: Marvin White, S (164th Pick)
7th Round: Corey Graham, CB (197th Pick)

Overall: Not many picks available for the Skins. Jamaal is an excellent pick-up, as well as Francis. Marvin White out of TCU and Graham should be solid picks, but their primarily a bust or boom.

7)
Minnesota Vikings - Robert Meachem, WR

2nd Round: Troy Smith, QB (41st Pick)
3rd Round: Michael Bush, RB (72nd Pick)
4th Round: Jacoby Jones, WR (102nd Pick)
5th Round: Mkristo Bruce, DE (136th Pick)
6th Round: Mike Jones, OG (167th Pick)
7th Round: Alonzo Coleman, RB (198th Pick)

Overall: Excellent Top 3 selection. Meachem and Bush have excellent potential. Troy is a warrior. Jones is a speedy pick-up, while Bruce is a very productive DE. Jones and Coleman are potential only.

8)
Houston Texans - Adrian Peterson, RB

2nd Round: Jason Hill, WR (39th Pick)
3rd Round: Justin Harrell, DT (73rd Pick)
4th Round: Paul Williams, WR (103rd Pick)
5th Round: Jonathan Wade, CB (134th Pick)
6th Round: Herbert Taylor, OT/OG (168th Pick)
7th Round: Corey Hilliard, OT (199th Pick)

Overall: Superb picks, IMO. Peterson, Hill, Harrell and Williams all have superstar potential Both Wade and Taylor are very solid picks. Hilliard is a sleeping dragon.

9)
Miami Dolphins - Dwayne Bowe, WR

2nd Round: Kevin Kolb, QB (40th Pick)
3rd Round: Earl Everett, LB (71st Pick)
4th Round: Eric Wright, CB (104th Pick)
6th Round: Stephen Nichols, LB (166th Pick)
6th Round: Jacob Ford, DE (183rd Pick)
7th ROund: Jordan Kent, WR (200th Pick)

Overall: Gotta love the first 5 picks. Bowe and Kolb are superb choices.

2nd Round: Craig Davis, WR (44th Pick)
3rd Round: Rufus Alexander, LB (75th Pick)
4th Round: Laurant Robinson, WR (105th Pick)
4th Round: Kareem Brown, DT (117th Pick)
5th Round: Andy Alleman, OG (139th Pick)
6th Round: Danny Ware, RB (170th Pick)

Overall: The Falcons could seriously upgrade their WR arsenal - or "cough", lack thereof. Jarrett, though thought to be a 4.6 40-runner, has the football-field speed, athleticism, hands and comfort I desire in a #1 WR. I think he's definitely a better package than Mike Williams. Craig Davis is a steal. Big, strong and fast...solid hands. Rufus will be a still in the 3rd Round.

2nd Round: Brandon Siler, LB (42nd Pick)
3rd Round: Tim Crowder, DE (76th Pick)
4th Round: Yamon Figurs, WR/Return Man (100th Pick)
4th Round: Brandon Mebane, DT (106th Pick)
4th Round: Brandon Myles, WR (120th Pick)
5th Round: A.J. Davis, CB (137th Pick)
6th Round: Jayson Swain, WR (171st Pick)

Overall: If this happens for SF, it will be a great day. Landry is a monster. You just don't pass him up. 6'1 220 lbs and a 4.3 40. Hits like a freight. Siler and Crowder are both overly aggressive playmakers. Exciteable. Yamon is a 4.2 electrifying athlete. Unknown and a potential Dante Hall. Mebane, Myles, Davis and Swain are all potential solid NFL'ers.

12)
Buffalo Bills - Patrick Willis, LB

2nd Round: Greg Olsen, TE (43rd Pick)
3rd Round: Doug Datish, C/OG (74th Pick)
4th Round: Tyler Palko, QB (107th Pick)
6th Round: Chase Johnson, OT (169th Pick)
7th Round: Johnathan Holland, WR (203rd Pick)

Overall: Gotta love the first 2 picks. Patrick Willis and Greg Olsen are potential perennial-Pro Bowlers. Doug is a solid pick that can play C/OG, if need be. The acquisition of Dockery will most likely sure-up the o-line problems. Tyler Palko is a great QB, who just happened to play on a not-so-great college team, for the last 2 or 3 yrs. Johnson and Holland are potential
sleepers.

13)
St. Louis Rams - Buster Davis, LB

2nd Round: Jarvis Moss, DE (52nd Pick)
3rd Round: Baraka Atkins, DE (82nd Pick)
4th Round: Josh Wilson, CB (113th Pick)
5th Round: Ryan McBean, DT (138th Pick)
6th Round: Kenny Scott, CB (175th Pick)
7th Round: Chandler Williams, WR (206th Pick)

Overall: I like the pick. Buster is explosive. However, Moss and Baraka are just as productive. Josh, Ryan and Kenny round out a superb draft for defense, on the part of the Rams. Williams, though undersized, is a 4.3/4.4 WR, with solid hands. Could develop into a solid return guy.

14)
Carolina Panthers - Michael Griffin, S

2nd Round: Zach Miller, TE (45th Pick)
3rd Round: Johnnie Lee Higgins, WR (83rd Pick)
4th Round: Chris Leak, QB (114th Pick)
5th Round: David Clowney, WR (145th Pick)
6th Round: Tim Shaw, DE/OLB (176th Pick)
7th Round: Chinedum Ndukwe, S (207th Pick)

Overall: Nice Draft, overall. Griffin and Miller have both been thought of to be solid 1st Rounders, for a year now. Higgins is a solid 4.4 guy. He's a Steve Smith (Panthers). He doesn't have flash speed, but he's got some wheels....but the main thing, he's got EXCELLENT hands. Leak, Clowney,
Shaw and Ndukwe are potential contributors with high ceilings.

15)
Pittsburgh Steelers - Leon Hall, CB

2nd Round: Jon Beason, LB (46th Pick)
3rd Round: Anthony Spencer, DE (77th Pick)
4th Round: Chris Henry, RB (115th Pick)
5th Round: D'Juan Woods, WR (146th Pick)
6th Round: Daniel Sepulveda, P (177th Pick)
7th Round: Mike Richardson, CB (208th Pick)

Overall: I love the first 3 Picks. Hall, a 4.3 guy, has silenced critics who questioned his speed. He will be a mainstay with the Steelers. Beason and Spencer are both excellent additions to the Steeler defense.

2nd Round: Darrelle Revis, CB (47th Pick)
3rd Round: Quentin Moses, DE (78th Pick)
4th Round: Scott Chandler, TE (108th Pick)
5th Round: Legedu Naanee, WR (147th Pick)
6th Round: Tony Taylor, LB (178th Pick)
7th Round: John Stocco, QB (209th Pick)
7th Round: Courtney Lewis, RB (216th Pick)

Overall: I think Randy Moss is going to be a Packer, next year. Imagine, Favre, Lynch, Moss and Chandler as your offensive threats. Sounds good to me. Darrelle Revis is an excellent pick. Moses in the 3rd Round is a steal. Naanee, Taylor, Stocco and Lewis are a dice roll. But I think at least 2 or the 4 will be future contributors.

17)
Jacksonville Jaguars - Paul Posluszny, LB

2nd Round: Daymeion Hughes, CB (48th Pick)
3rd Round: LaMarr Woodley, DE/LB (79th Pick)
4th Round: Aaron Rouse, S (109th Pick)
5th Round: Adam Podlesh, P (140th Pick)
6th Round: C.J. Ah You, DE (179th Pick)
7th Round: Andrew Carnahan, OT (210th Pick)

Overall: This a blessing in disguise for the Jags. If they were smarter, they'd pick-up LaVar Arrington, as well. The Poz was an excellent LB for PSU. That'd be crazy...Arrington and Poz playing in the same LB core....both former Nittany Lions. Woodley is a steal in the 3rd Round. Rouse, Carnahan and Podlesh are future starters in the NFL. Mark my words. Podlesh is strongly needed at Punter.

18)
Cincinnati Bengals - Alan Branch, DT

2nd Round: Aaron Sears, OT (49th Pick)
4th Round: Juwan Simpson, LB (110th Pick)
5th Round: Xzavie Jackson, DE (141st Pick)
6th Round: Joe Newton, TE (172nd Pick)
7th Round: Stephon Heyer, OT (211th Pick)

Overall: Can't argue with the first 4 picks. Branch, a 6'6 330 lb destroyer of o-lines and Sears almost as good of a linemen as Blalock. Barnes and Jackson are excellent selections, as they are both transitional players. With Odell headed for the big house, there's a vacancy. Actually, there's more than one vacancy. Newton and Heyer are boom or bust.

19)
Tennessee Titans - Levi Brown, OT

2nd Round: Anthony Gonzalez, WR (50th Pick)
3rd Round: Brian Robison, DE/LB (80th Pick)
4th Round: Samson Satele, C (111th Pick)
4th Round: Steve Breaston, WR (124th Pick)
5th Round: Stewart Bradley, LB (142nd Pick)

20)
New York Giants - Chris Houston, CB

2nd Round: Aundrae Allison, WR (51st Pick)
3rd Round: Doug Datish, C (81st Pick)
4th Round: DeShawn Wynn, RB (112th Pick)
5th Round: DeAndre Jackson, CB (143rd Pick)
6th Round: Matt Trannon, WR (174th Pick)
7th Round: Justin Vincent, RB (205th Pick)

Overall: Chris Houston is a shutdown CB. (Did it against Jarrett of USC, in 2006.) Allison is the SPEED WR and Datish is a superb center. Wynn is a steal, because he's much better than many will give him credit for. Reminds me of Frank Gore. (Without the fumbles.) Jackson was mentioned as a Top 10 DB, just a few yrs ago. He's a potential steal. Trannon is interesting. He's 6'6 220 lbs and can run a 4.5 40. He played with Stanton at Michigan State. He's got "IT" written all over him. As a freshman at LSU, Vincent posted jaw-dropping numbers, helping to lead LSU to a National Title. A few dozen injuries and 3 yrs later, he'd played himself out of the 2-Man rotating cycle.
If healthy, I think he could be nearly a "Priest Holmes" reincarnation. (Though Holmes wasn't even Drafted.)

21)
Denver Broncos - Amobi Okoye, DT

2nd Round: Eric Weddle, S (56th Pick)
3rd Round: James Marten, OT (70th Pick)
3rd Round: DeMarcus Tyler, DT (86th Pick)
6th Round: Ray McDonald, DE (161st Pick)
7th Round: Onrea Jones, WR (214th Pick)

Overall: Every single pick is solid. The great thing is, they all have huge ceilings and could be in the NFL for quite some time, especially Okoye - who's only 19 yrs old. Weddle is big and fast. Reminds me of John Lynch. James Marten is a potentially excellent pick, to add depth at OT. Not huge, very agile and quick. Tank Tyler is a run-guy, McDonald slightly underachieved
at Florida. Ornea is a boom or bust.

22)
Dallas Cowboys - Brandon Merriweather, S

2nd Round: Manuel Ramirez, OG (52nd Pick)
3rd Round: Mason Crosby, K (87th Pick)
4th Round: Kyle Young, c/OG/OT (118th Pick)
5th Round: Tarell Brown, CB (149th Pick)
6th Round: Leroy Harris, C/OG (180th Pick)
6th Round: Drew Tate, QB (185th Pick)
7th Round: Chad Nkang, LB/S (193rd Pick)
7th Round: Daniel Inman, OT (215th Pick)
7th Round: Marquay McDaniel, WR (218th Pick)

Overall: The Boys worked their magic and will land 10 Draft picks this yr, so far. With Leonard Davis coming aboard, the drafting of Merriweather, Ramirez, Crosby, Young, Brown and Harris would headline an excellent off-season campaign.

5th Round: Derek Landri, DT (150th Pick)
6th Round: Marquice Cole, CB (181st Pick)
7th Round: Mario Henderson, OT (212th Pick)

Overall: Kalil is perfect for the Chiefs. He's a franchise CENTER...if there could be one. Steve Smith and Courtney Taylor are sleeper superb WR's. Henderson, Landri and Cole are all solid, but suspecting picks.

24)
New England Patriots - Ted Ginn Jr., WR
(from Seattle Seahawks)

2nd Round: Kenny Irons, RB (60th Pick)
3rd Round: Josh Gattis, S (91st Pick)
4th Round: Rhema McKnight, WR (123rd Pick)
6th Round: Dallas Sarz, LB (165th Pick)
6th Round: Clark Harris, TE (187th Pick)
7th Round: Jared Zabransky, QB (219th Pick)

Overall: I like these selections. Ginn...the speed needed at WR, McKnight has the size and potential at WR. Kenny Irons, who was once thought to be a Top 15 Pick a year ago, will be available in the 2nd Round. Gattis, Bradley, Sarz and Harris are solid/safe picks. And with the acquisition of Adalius Thomas and possibly Randy Moss, look for NE to come on strong, yet again. Zabransky is a blue-collar hard worker. The kind of guy NE would probably like/connect with.

25)
New York Jets - Quinn Pitcock, DT

2nd Round: Tony Hunt, RB (59th Pick)
3rd Round: Sabby Piscitelli, S (89th Pick)
5th Round: Dan Bazuin, DE (154th Pick)
6th Round: Dan Santucci, OG (162nd Pick)

Overall: Obviously they like both of their #2 WR's, so Pitcock is an excellent pick at DT. Tony Hunt could make as the best selection for NE. Big, fast and physical. Actually, Hunt - a big physical back - and Thomas Jones - a smaller scat back - isn't a bad duo to have. Piscitelli is a super pick-up in the 3rd Round. Much needed. Bazuin and Santucci are both stable and solid picks in the 5th and 6th Rounds. If Chad goes down, keep Plummer's phone number on speed-dial.

26)
Philadelphia Eagles - Reggie Nelson, S
2nd Round: Adam Carriker, DE (57th Pick)
3rd Round: Joel Filani, WR (90th Pick)
5th Round: Anthony Waters, LB (152nd Pick)
6th Round: Chris Denman, OT (186th Pick)
7th Round: Martrez Milner, TE (217th Pick)

Overall: Every single pick is potentially a starter, if not more, in the NFL. Phili needs to work out the WR situation. Nelson and Carriker are solid NFL starters, with Pro Bowl potential. Filani has been talked about as a 2nd Round pick, as early as late last season. He has height and the technique needed to be an excellent choice. A steal. Waters, Denman and Milner are potential bust or boom pick-ups. Phili may need to get in talks for some WR FA's. (Moss?)

27)
New Orleans Saints - H.B. Blades, LB

2nd Round: Fred Bennett, CB (58th Pick)
3rd Round: Antwan Barnes, LB (88th Pick)
4th Round: David Irons, CB (119th Pick)
4th Round: David Ball, WR (121st Pick)
4th Round: Chansi Stuckey, WR (122nd Pick)
5th Round: Zak DeOssie, LB (153rd Pick)
6th Round: Daren Stone, S (184th Pick)
7th Round: Justin Hickman, DE (201st Pick)

Overall: Every single selection has PRODUCTIVITY written all over it. Blades, Durant, Bennett and Irons could see starting time, as rookies. Ball and Stuckey are solid speedy picks, much under-appreciated. DeOssie is a solid NFL pick. Production. Stone and Hickman could surprise a few doubters.

29)
Baltimore Ravens - Drew Stanton, QB

2nd Round: Antonio Pittman, RB (61st Pick)
3rd Round: Ryan Harris, OT (92nd Pick)
5th Round: Aaron Fairooz, WR (156th Pick)
6th Round: Ryne Robinson, WR (188th Pick)
7th Round: John Talley, CB (220th Pick)

Overall: Drew Stanton is a gem, guys. He has the size, power, technique and smarts to play the game. He's unfortunately been the only light in a house of darkness, at MSU. If you bring Jamaal back...great. Either way, I still draft Pittman as a late 2nd Round or early 3rd ROund Pick. Harris, Fairooz, Robinson and Talley are all solid/safe picks.

30)
San Diego Chargers - David Harris, LB

2nd Round: Victor Abiamiri, DE (62nd Pick)
3rd Round: Jarrett Hicks, WR (93rd Pick)
4th Round: Gabe Hall, OT/OG (125th Pick)
5th Round: Brandon Frye, OT/OG (157th Pick)
7th Round: Gerald Alexander, S (221st Pick)

Overall: Donnie Edwards may be gone, but in comes David Harris. Superb LB. Victor is a gem, sitting in the 2nd Round. Hicks and Hall are both solid Texans that will definitely contribute. Frye and Alexander are potential-based, only.

31)
Chicago Bears - Lawrence Timmons, LB

2nd Round: John Beck, QB (37th Pick)
2nd Round: John Wendling, S (63rd Pick)
3rd Round: Allen Barbre, OT (94th Pick)
4th Round: Brandon Jackson, RB (126th Pick)
5th Round: Michael Coe, CB/S (158th Pick)
6th Round: Scott Stephenson, OG/C (190th Pick)
7th Round: Michael Allan, TE (202nd Pick)
7th Round: Ken Shackleford, OG (222nd Pick)

Overall: Gotta love the first 3 picks. Timmons, Beck and Barbre should make immediate impacts with the Bears. Jackson and Coe are excellent and tough players, with high ceilings. Though Brandon may be a little short. Stephenson and Allan are solid/safe picks. Potential. Shackleford is an enormous gem. 6'6 335 lbs.

32)
Indianapolis Colts - Aaron Ross, CB

3rd Round: Justin Durant, LB (95th Pick)
4th Round: Keith Jackson, DT (127th Pick)
5th Round: Ola Dagunduro, DT (159th Pick)
7th Round: Dustin Fry, C/OG (223rd Pick/Mr. Irrelevent)

Overall: Aaron, Justin and Keith will make immediate impacts. Excellent players. Ola and Fry are potential-based only.

-----

Seattle Seahawks (Seahawks do not have have a 1st Round Pick)

2nd Round: Joe Staley, OT (55th Pick)
3rd Round: Brian Leonard, FB (85th Pick)
4th Round: Kasey Studdard, OG (116th Pick)
5th Round: Matt Spaeth, TE (151st Pick)
6th Round: Kevin Payne, S (182nd Pick)
7th Round: Jonny Harline, TE (213th Pick)

Overall: Excellent draft. Staley, Leonard and Studdard should be immediate contributors. Spaeth, Payne and Harline will be future contributors. Solid/safe picks.

In light of the Jets/Bears Thomas trade, I've made changes in my Draft board. Cleveland keeps its' seat with the 3rd Pick...

1)
Oakland Raiders - JaMarcus Russell, QB

2nd Round: Sidney Rice, WR (33rd pick)
3rd Round: Josh Beekman, OG (65th Pick)
4th Round: Turk McBride, DT (96th Pick)
5th Round: Mike Walker, WR (128th Pick)
5th Round: Jay Alford, DT (155th Pick)
6th Round: Dwayne Wright, RB (160th Pick)
7th Round: Selvin Young, RB (192nd Pick)

Overall: Heard a rumor about Oakland still wanting Plummer so that he could groom Russell. If true, that's ok...if not, no sweat. I think the additions of Russell and Rice may be a tale-tell sign, for Moss. Personally, I think Randy is a Packer or Patriot, come the 2007 season. At 6'6 260 lbs, Russell could wind up far more productive than Daunte Culppeper, which would be awesome. Beekman and McBride are solid picks that could look to be solid, perhaps better, o-linemen. Walker is a speedy WR, and Alford is productive, though undersized. Wright and Young could be solid players or 1-n-done NFL'ers.

2)
Detroit Lions - Joe Thomas, OT

2nd Round: Trent Edwards, QB (34th Pick)
3rd Round: Tanard Jackson, CB (66th Pick)
4th Round: Kolby Smith, RB (97th Pick)
5th Round: Garrett Wolfe, RB/WR/Return Man (129th Pick)
5th Round: Mike Otto, OT (135th Pick)
5th Round: Ryan Smith, CB (144th Pick)
5th Round: Darius Walker, RB (148th Pick)

Overall: Honestly, if this were to happen, I'd think of it as Detroit's best draft
since..."who knows?".

3)
Cleveland Browns - Brady Quinn, QB

2nd Round: Marcus McCauley, CB (36th Pick)
3rd Round: Prescott Burgess, LB (67th Pick)
4th Round: Lorenzo Booker, RB (99th Pick)
5th Round: Paul Soliai, DT/NG (130th Pick)
6th Round: David Patterson, DT (163rd Pick)
7th Round: QuincY Black, LB (194th Pick)

Overall: Solid picks. Quinn, arguably the best QB in the Draft has plenty of potential. Marcus, Prescott, Lorenzo and Paul have excellent chances of being solid starters. Especially Marcus. Patterson and Black are players that I think can productive.

4)
Tampa Bay - Calvin Johnson, WR

2nd Round: Justin Blalock, OG (35th Pick)
2nd Round: Charles Johnson, DE (64th Pick)
3rd ROund: Marcus Thomas, DT (68th Pick)
4th Round: Ben Patrick, FB/TE (98th Pick)
5th Round: Dallas Baker, WR (131st Pick)
7th Round: Isaiah Stanback, WR/QB (195th Pick)

Overall: Tampa looks to get their man. Calvin Johnson is the best athlete and player in the NFL Draft. Blalock is a future 12-15 yr perennial Pro-Bowler/All-Pro. Excellent size, speed, technique and power.Charles Johnson should've stayed in school, but since he didn't, he goes to the Bucs in the 3rd Round. Marcus and Ben are transitional players. Thomas could play D-End if need be and Ben could play FB at 6'3 252 lbs and a 4.6/4.7 40 yd dash. Dallas and Stanback are good size potential bust or boom players. I think they're both work a look.

5)
Arizona Cardinals - Gaines Adams, DE

2nd Round: Tony Ugoh, OT (38th PicK)
3rd Round: Marshal Yanda, OG (69th Pick)
4th Round: Josh Gattis, S (101st Pick)
5th Round: Tim Duckworth, OG (132nd Pick)
7th Round: Stanley Doughty, DT (196th Pick)

Overall: Gaines Adams is a monster DE. Great Pick. Tony and Yanda are icing on the cake. Gattis and Duckworth are solid picks, while Stanley is a typical bust or boom. At 330 lbs and only 6'1, lets hope he doesn't eat his way out of the NFL. Then again, he could become another "Fridge" or Gerald "The Gravedigger" Brown.

6)
Washington Redskins - Jamaal Anderson, DE

5th Round: Ikaika Alama-Francis, DE (133rd Pick)
6th Round: Marvin White, S (164th Pick)
7th Round: Corey Graham, CB (197th Pick)

Overall: Not many picks available for the Skins. Jamaal is an excellent pick-up, as well as Francis. Marvin White out of TCU and Graham should be solid picks, but their primarily a bust or boom.

7)
Minnesota Vikings - Robert Meachem, WR

2nd Round: Troy Smith, QB (41st Pick)
3rd Round: Michael Bush, RB (72nd Pick)
4th Round: Jacoby Jones, WR (102nd Pick)
5th Round: Mkristo Bruce, DE (136th Pick)
6th Round: Mike Jones, OG (167th Pick)
7th Round: Alonzo Coleman, RB (198th Pick)

Overall: Excellent Top 3 selection. Meachem and Bush have excellent potential. Troy is a warrior. Jones is a speedy pick-up, while Bruce is a very productive DE. Jones and Coleman are potential only.

8)
Houston Texans - Adrian Peterson, RB

2nd Round: Jason Hill, WR (39th Pick)
3rd Round: Justin Harrell, DT (73rd Pick)
4th Round: Paul Williams, WR (103rd Pick)
5th Round: Jonathan Wade, CB (134th Pick)
6th Round: Herbert Taylor, OT/OG (168th Pick)
7th Round: Corey Hilliard, OT (199th Pick)

Overall: Superb picks, IMO. Peterson, Hill, Harrell and Williams all have superstar potential Both Wade and Taylor are very solid picks. Hilliard is a sleeping dragon.

9)
Miami Dolphins - Dwayne Bowe, WR

2nd Round: Kevin Kolb, QB (40th Pick)
3rd Round: Earl Everett, LB (71st Pick)
4th Round: Eric Wright, CB (104th Pick)
6th Round: Stephen Nichols, LB (166th Pick)
6th Round: Jacob Ford, DE (183rd Pick)
7th ROund: Jordan Kent, WR (200th Pick)

Overall: Gotta love the first 5 picks. Bowe and Kolb are superb choices.

2nd Round: Craig Davis, WR (44th Pick)
3rd Round: Rufus Alexander, LB (75th Pick)
4th Round: Laurant Robinson, WR (105th Pick)
4th Round: Kareem Brown, DT (117th Pick)
5th Round: Andy Alleman, OG (139th Pick)
6th Round: Danny Ware, RB (170th Pick)

Overall: The Falcons could seriously upgrade their WR arsenal - or "cough", lack thereof. Jarrett, though thought to be a 4.6 40-runner, has the football-field speed, athleticism, hands and comfort I desire in a #1 WR. I think he's definitely a better package than Mike Williams. Craig Davis is a steal. Big, strong and fast...solid hands. Rufus will be a still in the 3rd Round.

2nd Round: Brandon Siler, LB (42nd Pick)
3rd Round: Tim Crowder, DE (76th Pick)
4th Round: Yamon Figurs, WR/Return Man (100th Pick)
4th Round: Brandon Mebane, DT (106th Pick)
4th Round: Brandon Myles, WR (120th Pick)
5th Round: A.J. Davis, CB (137th Pick)
6th Round: Jayson Swain, WR (171st Pick)

Overall: If this happens for SF, it will be a great day. Landry is a monster. You just don't pass him up. 6'1 220 lbs and a 4.3 40. Hits like a freight. Siler and Crowder are both overly aggressive playmakers. Exciteable. Yamon is a 4.2 electrifying athlete. Unknown and a potential Dante Hall. Mebane, Myles, Davis and Swain are all potential solid NFL'ers.

12)
Buffalo Bills - Patrick Willis, LB

2nd Round: Greg Olsen, TE (43rd Pick)
3rd Round: Doug Datish, C/OG (74th Pick)
4th Round: Tyler Palko, QB (107th Pick)
6th Round: Chase Johnson, OT (169th Pick)
7th Round: Johnathan Holland, WR (203rd Pick)

Overall: Gotta love the first 2 picks. Patrick Willis and Greg Olsen are potential perennial-Pro Bowlers. Doug is a solid pick that can play C/OG, if need be. The acquisition of Dockery will most likely sure-up the o-line problems. Tyler Palko is a great QB, who just happened to play on a not-so-great college team, for the last 2 or 3 yrs. Johnson and Holland are potential
sleepers.

13)
St. Louis Rams - Buster Davis, LB

2nd Round: Jarvis Moss, DE (52nd Pick)
3rd Round: Baraka Atkins, DE (82nd Pick)
4th Round: Josh Wilson, CB (113th Pick)
5th Round: Ryan McBean, DT (138th Pick)
6th Round: Kenny Scott, CB (175th Pick)
7th Round: Chandler Williams, WR (206th Pick)

Overall: I like the pick. Buster is explosive. However, Moss and Baraka are just as productive. Josh, Ryan and Kenny round out a superb draft for defense, on the part of the Rams. Williams, though undersized, is a 4.3/4.4 WR, with solid hands. Could develop into a solid return guy.

14)
Carolina Panthers - Michael Griffin, S

2nd Round: Zach Miller, TE (45th Pick)
3rd Round: Johnnie Lee Higgins, WR (83rd Pick)
4th Round: Chris Leak, QB (114th Pick)
5th Round: David Clowney, WR (145th Pick)
6th Round: Tim Shaw, DE/OLB (176th Pick)
7th Round: Chinedum Ndukwe, S (207th Pick)

Overall: Nice Draft, overall. Griffin and Miller have both been thought of to be solid 1st Rounders, for a year now. Higgins is a solid 4.4 guy. He's a Steve Smith (Panthers). He doesn't have flash speed, but he's got some wheels....but the main thing, he's got EXCELLENT hands. Leak, Clowney,
Shaw and Ndukwe are potential contributors with high ceilings.

15)
Pittsburgh Steelers - Leon Hall, CB

2nd Round: Jon Beason, LB (46th Pick)
3rd Round: Anthony Spencer, DE (77th Pick)
4th Round: Chris Henry, RB (115th Pick)
5th Round: D'Juan Woods, WR (146th Pick)
6th Round: Daniel Sepulveda, P (177th Pick)
7th Round: Mike Richardson, CB (208th Pick)

Overall: I love the first 3 Picks. Hall, a 4.3 guy, has silenced critics who questioned his speed. He will be a mainstay with the Steelers. Beason and Spencer are both excellent additions to the Steeler defense.

2nd Round: Darrelle Revis, CB (47th Pick)
3rd Round: Quentin Moses, DE (78th Pick)
4th Round: Scott Chandler, TE (108th Pick)
5th Round: Legedu Naanee, WR (147th Pick)
6th Round: Tony Taylor, LB (178th Pick)
7th Round: John Stocco, QB (209th Pick)
7th Round: Courtney Lewis, RB (216th Pick)

Overall: I think Randy Moss is going to be a Packer, next year. Imagine, Favre, Lynch, Moss and Chandler as your offensive threats. Sounds good to me. Darrelle Revis is an excellent pick. Moses in the 3rd Round is a steal. Naanee, Taylor, Stocco and Lewis are a dice roll. But I think at least 2 or the 4 will be future contributors.

17)
Jacksonville Jaguars - Paul Posluszny, LB

2nd Round: Daymeion Hughes, CB (48th Pick)
3rd Round: LaMarr Woodley, DE/LB (79th Pick)
4th Round: Aaron Rouse, S (109th Pick)
5th Round: Adam Podlesh, P (140th Pick)
6th Round: C.J. Ah You, DE (179th Pick)
7th Round: Andrew Carnahan, OT (210th Pick)

Overall: This a blessing in disguise for the Jags. If they were smarter, they'd pick-up LaVar Arrington, as well. The Poz was an excellent LB for PSU. That'd be crazy...Arrington and Poz playing in the same LB core....both former Nittany Lions. Woodley is a steal in the 3rd Round. Rouse, Carnahan and Podlesh are future starters in the NFL. Mark my words. Podlesh is strongly needed at Punter.

18)
Cincinnati Bengals - Alan Branch, DT

2nd Round: Aaron Sears, OT (49th Pick)
4th Round: Juwan Simpson, LB (110th Pick)
5th Round: Xzavie Jackson, DE (141st Pick)
6th Round: Joe Newton, TE (172nd Pick)
7th Round: Stephon Heyer, OT (211th Pick)

Overall: Can't argue with the first 4 picks. Branch, a 6'6 330 lb destroyer of o-lines and Sears almost as good of a linemen as Blalock. Barnes and Jackson are excellent selections, as they are both transitional players. With Odell headed for the big house, there's a vacancy. Actually, there's more than one vacancy. Newton and Heyer are boom or bust.

19)
Tennessee Titans - Levi Brown, OT

2nd Round: Anthony Gonzalez, WR (50th Pick)
3rd Round: Brian Robison, DE/LB (80th Pick)
4th Round: Samson Satele, C (111th Pick)
4th Round: Steve Breaston, WR (124th Pick)
5th Round: Stewart Bradley, LB (142nd Pick)

20)
New York Giants - Chris Houston, CB

2nd Round: Aundrae Allison, WR (51st Pick)
3rd Round: Doug Datish, C (81st Pick)
4th Round: DeShawn Wynn, RB (112th Pick)
5th Round: DeAndre Jackson, CB (143rd Pick)
6th Round: Matt Trannon, WR (174th Pick)
7th Round: Justin Vincent, RB (205th Pick)

Overall: Chris Houston is a shutdown CB. (Did it against Jarrett of USC, in 2006.) Allison is the SPEED WR and Datish is a superb center. Wynn is a steal, because he's much better than many will give him credit for. Reminds me of Frank Gore. (Without the fumbles.) Jackson was mentioned as a Top 10 DB, just a few yrs ago. He's a potential steal. Trannon is interesting. He's 6'6 220 lbs and can run a 4.5 40. He played with Stanton at Michigan State. He's got "IT" written all over him. As a freshman at LSU, Vincent posted jaw-dropping numbers, helping to lead LSU to a National Title. A few dozen injuries and 3 yrs later, he'd played himself out of the 2-Man rotating cycle.
If healthy, I think he could be nearly a "Priest Holmes" reincarnation. (Though Holmes wasn't even Drafted.)

21)
Denver Broncos - Amobi Okoye, DT

2nd Round: Eric Weddle, S (56th Pick)
3rd Round: James Marten, OT (70th Pick)
3rd Round: DeMarcus Tyler, DT (86th Pick)
6th Round: Ray McDonald, DE (161st Pick)
7th Round: Onrea Jones, WR (214th Pick)

Overall: Every single pick is solid. The great thing is, they all have huge ceilings and could be in the NFL for quite some time, especially Okoye - who's only 19 yrs old. Weddle is big and fast. Reminds me of John Lynch. James Marten is a potentially excellent pick, to add depth at OT. Not huge, very agile and quick. Tank Tyler is a run-guy, McDonald slightly underachieved
at Florida. Ornea is a boom or bust.

22)
Dallas Cowboys - Brandon Merriweather, S

2nd Round: Manuel Ramirez, OG (52nd Pick)
3rd Round: Mason Crosby, K (87th Pick)
4th Round: Kyle Young, c/OG/OT (118th Pick)
5th Round: Tarell Brown, CB (149th Pick)
6th Round: Leroy Harris, C/OG (180th Pick)
6th Round: Drew Tate, QB (185th Pick)
7th Round: Chad Nkang, LB/S (193rd Pick)
7th Round: Daniel Inman, OT (215th Pick)
7th Round: Marquay McDaniel, WR (218th Pick)

Overall: The Boys worked their magic and will land 10 Draft picks this yr, so far. With Leonard Davis coming aboard, the drafting of Merriweather, Ramirez, Crosby, Young, Brown and Harris would headline an excellent off-season campaign.

5th Round: Derek Landri, DT (150th Pick)
6th Round: Marquice Cole, CB (181st Pick)
7th Round: Mario Henderson, OT (212th Pick)

Overall: Kalil is perfect for the Chiefs. He's a franchise CENTER...if there could be one. Steve Smith and Courtney Taylor are sleeper superb WR's. Henderson, Landri and Cole are all solid, but suspecting picks.

24)
New England Patriots - Ted Ginn Jr., WR
(from Seattle Seahawks)

2nd Round: Kenny Irons, RB (60th Pick)
3rd Round: Josh Gattis, S (91st Pick)
4th Round: Rhema McKnight, WR (123rd Pick)
6th Round: Dallas Sarz, LB (165th Pick)
6th Round: Clark Harris, TE (187th Pick)
7th Round: Jared Zabransky, QB (219th Pick)

Overall: I like these selections. Ginn...the speed needed at WR, McKnight has the size and potential at WR. Kenny Irons, who was once thought to be a Top 15 Pick a year ago, will be available in the 2nd Round. Gattis, Bradley, Sarz and Harris are solid/safe picks. And with the acquisition of Adalius Thomas and possibly Randy Moss, look for NE to come on strong, yet again. Zabransky is a blue-collar hard worker. The kind of guy NE would probably like/connect with.

25)
New York Jets - Quinn Pitcock, DT

2nd Round: Tony Hunt, RB (59th Pick)
3rd Round: Sabby Piscitelli, S (89th Pick)
5th Round: Dan Bazuin, DE (154th Pick)
6th Round: Dan Santucci, OG (162nd Pick)

Overall: Obviously they like both of their #2 WR's, so Pitcock is an excellent pick at DT. Tony Hunt could make as the best selection for NE. Big, fast and physical. Actually, Hunt - a big physical back - and Thomas Jones - a smaller scat back - isn't a bad duo to have. Piscitelli is a super pick-up in the 3rd Round. Much needed. Bazuin and Santucci are both stable and solid picks in the 5th and 6th Rounds. If Chad goes down, keep Plummer's phone number on speed-dial.

26)
Philadelphia Eagles - Reggie Nelson, S
2nd Round: Adam Carriker, DE (57th Pick)
3rd Round: Joel Filani, WR (90th Pick)
5th Round: Anthony Waters, LB (152nd Pick)
6th Round: Chris Denman, OT (186th Pick)
7th Round: Martrez Milner, TE (217th Pick)

Overall: Every single pick is potentially a starter, if not more, in the NFL. Phili needs to work out the WR situation. Nelson and Carriker are solid NFL starters, with Pro Bowl potential. Filani has been talked about as a 2nd Round pick, as early as late last season. He has height and the technique needed to be an excellent choice. A steal. Waters, Denman and Milner are potential bust or boom pick-ups. Phili may need to get in talks for some WR FA's. (Moss?)

27)
New Orleans Saints - H.B. Blades, LB

2nd Round: Fred Bennett, CB (58th Pick)
3rd Round: Antwan Barnes, LB (88th Pick)
4th Round: David Irons, CB (119th Pick)
4th Round: David Ball, WR (121st Pick)
4th Round: Chansi Stuckey, WR (122nd Pick)
5th Round: Zak DeOssie, LB (153rd Pick)
6th Round: Daren Stone, S (184th Pick)
7th Round: Justin Hickman, DE (201st Pick)

Overall: Every single selection has PRODUCTIVITY written all over it. Blades, Durant, Bennett and Irons could see starting time, as rookies. Ball and Stuckey are solid speedy picks, much under-appreciated. DeOssie is a solid NFL pick. Production. Stone and Hickman could surprise a few doubters.

29)
Baltimore Ravens - Drew Stanton, QB

2nd Round: Antonio Pittman, RB (61st Pick)
3rd Round: Ryan Harris, OT (92nd Pick)
5th Round: Aaron Fairooz, WR (156th Pick)
6th Round: Ryne Robinson, WR (188th Pick)
7th Round: John Talley, CB (220th Pick)

Overall: Drew Stanton is a gem, guys. He has the size, power, technique and smarts to play the game. He's unfortunately been the only light in a house of darkness, at MSU. If you bring Jamaal back...great. Either way, I still draft Pittman as a late 2nd Round or early 3rd ROund Pick. Harris, Fairooz, Robinson and Talley are all solid/safe picks.

30)
San Diego Chargers - David Harris, LB

2nd Round: Victor Abiamiri, DE (62nd Pick)
3rd Round: Jarrett Hicks, WR (93rd Pick)
4th Round: Gabe Hall, OT/OG (125th Pick)
5th Round: Brandon Frye, OT/OG (157th Pick)
7th Round: Gerald Alexander, S (221st Pick)

Overall: Donnie Edwards may be gone, but in comes David Harris. Superb LB. Victor is a gem, sitting in the 2nd Round. Hicks and Hall are both solid Texans that will definitely contribute. Frye and Alexander are potential-based, only.

31)
Chicago Bears - Lawrence Timmons, LB

2nd Round: John Beck, QB (37th Pick)
2nd Round: John Wendling, S (63rd Pick)
3rd Round: Allen Barbre, OT (94th Pick)
4th Round: Brandon Jackson, RB (126th Pick)
5th Round: Michael Coe, CB/S (158th Pick)
6th Round: Scott Stephenson, OG/C (190th Pick)
7th Round: Michael Allan, TE (202nd Pick)
7th Round: Ken Shackleford, OG (222nd Pick)

Overall: Gotta love the first 3 picks. Timmons, Beck and Barbre should make immediate impacts with the Bears. Jackson and Coe are excellent and tough players, with high ceilings. Though Brandon may be a little short. Stephenson and Allan are solid/safe picks. Potential. Shackleford is an enormous gem. 6'6 335 lbs.

32)
Indianapolis Colts - Aaron Ross, CB

3rd Round: Justin Durant, LB (95th Pick)
4th Round: Keith Jackson, DT (127th Pick)
5th Round: Ola Dagunduro, DT (159th Pick)
7th Round: Dustin Fry, C/OG (223rd Pick/Mr. Irrelevent)

Overall: Aaron, Justin and Keith will make immediate impacts. Excellent players. Ola and Fry are potential-based only.

-----

Seattle Seahawks (Seahawks do not have have a 1st Round Pick)

2nd Round: Joe Staley, OT (55th Pick)
3rd Round: Brian Leonard, FB (85th Pick)
4th Round: Kasey Studdard, OG (116th Pick)
5th Round: Matt Spaeth, TE (151st Pick)
6th Round: Kevin Payne, S (182nd Pick)
7th Round: Jonny Harline, TE (213th Pick)

Overall: Excellent draft. Staley, Leonard and Studdard should be immediate contributors. Spaeth, Payne and Harline will be future contributors. Solid/safe picks.

So you dont think the titans will go after Ginn or rice (SC state). dont they need a legit WR to go opposite of David Givens?

Well, the thing with the Titans, and this years Darft, is WR is VERY deep. However, the Titans O-line is in shambles. Neither tackle is worth much...and when you have a 6'6 325 lb tackle like Levi Brown, who has been a 4-starter and All-American...powerful, quick and smart/intelligent OT, you have a tough choice. Levi could be an enormous success or enormous bust, but weigh your options. I think there are about 38 WR's that could be drafted, and contribute to an NFL squad - 11 (Calvin Johnson, Robert Meachem, Dwayne Jarrett, Dwayne Bowe, Ted Ginn Jr., Sidney Rice, Craig Davis, Jason Hill, Anthony Gonzalez, Steve Smith and Aundrae Allison) with possible starter/Pro Bowl potential.

At OT, there are only 2, perhaps 3, linemen that could be solid - if not potentially great - left tackles in this draft. Levi Brown, Joe Thomas and Joe Staley. If I'm the Titans, I think real hard about Levi in the first round, and 1 or 2 potentially very solid WR's in the later rounds. There are plenty of the Marquis Colston's in this draft, IMO. However, it's extremely tough to find a solid - let alone franchise/great - OT. (Especially in the Draft.)

As a gut feeling, I feel Ginn will be either a faster Steve Smith (Panthers) or another Dante Hall. Either way, his speed and agility is desired. (His small size and frail frame are concerning, though.) Rice is a steal, if he makes it past the 1st Round. If the Raiders can ship off Moss, and get Rice in the 2nd Round, it would automatically be their best draft in years.

Great list! You are a stud .... a stud without a job apparently .... but a stud nonetheless.

Any list with Adrian Peterson going to the Texans is good in my book. let's hope it works out....

Aren't Left Tackles highly prized? Isn't that the reason Joe Thomas is projected so high? almost 6'8 320lbs and still runs under 5.0 in the 40.
Good Lineman can be found in any round but each Team is looking for that Franchise type player for the LT, am I right?

BTW Good and exhaustive list, I do not have that type of time on my hands.

LT's and Centers are very hard to come by. (However, usually a smart College OG can transition into a solid Center or even great center. They're usually too small in College. (275 lbs Avg) There are exceptions, though.) A team is always looking for a Franchise LT, especially in the Draft. And yes, good linemen can be found in the deep rounds, though it is rare. However, most teams choose to draft speed and athleticism, instead. The O-line can take a very long time to adjust to, in the NFL. Linemen are much bigger, much more powerful and much more aggressive on the NFL level, while the skill positions aren't as difficult. (Still difficult, though. And, obviously the NFL QB position is the toughest to adjust to.)

When it's all said and done, most teams would rather sign a bunch of linemen as Draft FA's, and cut them at will, rather than waste a draft pick on them. Truth be told, O-linemen come a dime-a-dozen. (Except for the good/great ones; they last.) A good QB or WR or RB or DB or LB can be tough to come by, but usually the ones that start in the NFL are the ones that are drafted in the first 2 or 3 rounds of the NFL Draft. (Though QB's like Romo and Garcia can be overlooked.) LT's - that start, and are any good - are usually drafted in the 1st Round...and no later than the 2nd Round.

Exactly what I was thinking. There does seem to be a few lineman in this draft that may be drafted in the first couple of rounds. That is a little unusual.

What is up with Wisconson? They seem to have a top lineman come from that program every couple of years.

Wisconsin is definitely on point with their o-line roots....

(Current Badger O-linemen in the NFL)
OG/OT - Aaron Gibson (Not sure he's still playing.)
OT/OG - Chris McIntosh
OG/C - Casey Rabach
OT - Mark Tauscher
OT - Joe Thomas (NFL Draftee)

I'd also say the Longhorns are pretty steady with "Cheese" University....

(Current Longhorn O-linemen in the NFL)
OT - Leonard Davis
OG - Derrick Dockery
OT - Jonathan Scott
OG - Mike Williams
OG - Justin Blalock (NFL Draftee)
OG/OT - Kasey Studdard (NFL Draftee)

The Raiders frafted a guy in the top 5, a couple of years ag. Was he from Wisconsin? I guess i could look it up huh:) ?

Yup, and it's beginning to seem like Gallery is a wash/flop for Left Tackle, in the NFL. He was just moved to Right Tackle a few weeks back. I give the Raiders 2 more years, before they deal the kid. So much for the lure of a Top 5 Left Tackle.

Haha! They could probably go elsewhere, but perhaps Drew could add some hometown appeal and possibly he could prove to be a more productive NFL QB. I mean, hell, he was being rated as a Top 5 QB, just a year or two ago, in college football.
