SOC vs Spruce in boys region II finals today at Garland. Rockwall girls in the 5A finals tonight.
I will be interested in those games.

Rockwall is just east of Fate and north of McLendon-Chisholm.LOL:rolleyes:

LOL just kidding. All of those directions are true, and its about 10 miles east of downtown Garland:D

cavalier dad, if you don't know where Garland is, Rockwall is in the outskirts of the Dallas Metroplex...its not actually in Dallas county, but in Rockwall county which is the small box East of Dallas County (it is North of Dallas proper)

my high school girls team was 2 games away from state but lost last week to churchill, they made a heck of a run though

Great game tonight for Cy Fair - too bad it ended up on the losing end but what a season for them and for a team of mostly underclassmen, they WILL win state next year (Yes, I am making that bold predicition right now). They have so much talent returning it's scary. Great Season BOBCATS!!!

CFMom, I only caught the last 40 seconds of OT. I was working at the Dance Contest hosted by TW College Park.

Did Rockwall make a comeback or something?

BTW I saw Langham Creek's performance. Holy Crap. Those kids were awesome. So were the Clear Lake Rockettes.

Not really a comeback, the game was pretty closely played all night. Cy Fair had a chance to win it with a few seconds left and the older of the two sisters got called on a charge (it was bogus IMO because the defender was moving her feet) and RW got the ball back and that was that. At that point, RW was up by 3 but CF had to foul and it was back to 3 and that was all she wrote.

It wasn't bogus as the offensive player caused the contact knock the defender down (IMHO). But hey, Cy Fair was not getting called for all the reaching and slapping either (some of the girls had welps on their arms after the game).

It was a good game and it was sad that either team had to loose. BUT your prediction of Cy Fair winning next is probably correct and next year with those two tall (6-2) sisters with more experience will be the favorite.

From where I was (LOL) it looked like there were a lot of non calls (contact) for both sides.
When is the parade?:)

It was a very contact game and someone told me once that basketball was a NON-CONTACT sport..:D

I'll ask my daughter (10th) to find out.. You know it will be whole town and cause MAJOR traffic problems,:eek:
