Well they didn't want to pay him that $5 million bonus and he didn't try as hard this year and plus he was injured for most of the season.

If the cowboys want more depth at TE, then McMichael is an awesome choice. Could you imagine Whitten and McMichael?? that would be an amazing tandem. However, that wont happen since we have the young Anthony Fasano. But hey, some solid depth at TE never hurt any team...just look at the New England Patriots this last season. They had like 3 TEs that could be starters just about anywhere.
