Anyone work for or know some people who work at Travelocity there in SL? My fiancee has an interview with them and would like to get some input on experiences there.

I don't know where it is, just says it's HQ'ed in Southlake. I assume that's correct.

i herd that people there hate poor people! i also herd it's where you go if you dont make it to heaven!

Just ignore stevefoxsc's comment. Southlake is a very nice place and yes, it is an upper income community on average. Driving around here is certainly a whole lot better than having to commute into Dallas everyday. I believe Travelocity is located in Solana on the Southlake/Westlake border. Nice location. There are some nice apartment in Trophy Club and Keller as well, if she doesn't want to spend the money on housing in Southlake, per se. Real short commute as well. Sorry I can't tell you much about working there, but I certainly wish her well in the interview.

I have a friend that works for Sabre (travelocity). Dont know much about what he does but I know he likes it.

Actually the Sabre/Travelocity facility is at the next exit, Kirkwood. It is to the right onto Kirkwood, north of 114. The road becomes Sabre Dr. http://www.sabre-holdings.com/aboutUs/locations/us.html There are tons of apartments right next door in Trohpy Club. Many others farther to the NW on 114 / 170 in Roanoke.
