I sometimes wonder about how a team would do against a team they would not likely play, except maybe in POs. Talk to 10 people and maybe get 10 answeres. Here are some I would have liked to have seen. It IS offseason:o
Westlake vs Ceder Hill
Garland vs Katy (again)
Allen vs Lufkin (with BOTH QBs)
Waco vs Leander
Pearland vs Plano East
Celina vs Alamo Hieghts
Longview vs Westfield
SV vs La Marque
just for talk. Im sure so and so would beat so and so by 50 etc. yada yada;) But I was wondering how some of yall thought of some of these and others match ups. I think they would all be good games

How would Cy Falls have done against Round Rock?
Considering the way Cedar Hill man handled them... not good. Round Rock was a Tricky Offense to stop, and Cy-falls didn't really play much defense...
34-24 Round Rock
Thats JMO

Trinity needs to be in this. Had they got past us they would have gone far. How about Trinity vs Westlake?

I could not think of a good match up for Trinity. IMO they are the #2 in the state, but ALMOST #1:eek:

LOL, don't start going Plano on us now! ;)
I would have enjoyed a rematch between Plano East and Allen in the playoffs. Of course it would have been nice for both teams to have been healthy for it. No injuries to blame, no excuses.
District rivals are made, not born!

Call Lineweaver's decision anything you like, but it's over. He is a coach who brings class, integrity; and makes good teams, players, students, and individuals out of his players. No way I would second guess what happened. Trinity has learned that life has it's ups and downs and things happen for a reason. Watch...they will be back even stonger next year.
The new class is bringing players that will do very well. Some of them even experienced beating one of the SLC teams, and very very few have that to say.
SLC is still the standard by which we are all measured. Until they are beaten, they will stay there.
