I just read where A.J. Penson had comitted to play for The Dodge Gang at UNT. This kid can get it on. I went to school with his dad, and have enjoyed watching him play for The Pack these last few years.

I hope more Lp players make their way to Denton, so I can see them play at the next level.

He didn't play for SLC dude...nobody wants to talk about him. They have to be a 1 or 2 star recruit for this board to give them any attention.

Y'all don't care about Penson coming because he's not from Southlake. Otherwise this thread would be 5 pages long like the rest of the UNT recruit threads. Good grief wide...how is it wrong to follow what Coach Dodge is doing? I'm as excited about Marcus King, Penson, Vizza and the kid from Klien committing as I am about any of the others..it's as fun for us to watch it unfold as it is for fans of the other programs around the state.

Exactly... I guess what Wide is saying is that it's impossible for a SLC fan to be a fan of a college team and or coach without EVERY PLAYER being from SLC. That'd work out well, huh.

I'm just totally impressed by the players that North Texas is getting all together. This is hands down without a shadow of a doubt the best recruiting class North Texas has ever had and just to think Coach TD did all that in about 1 month.

It's kind of scary to think what he could do if he actually had a whole year to scout and evaluate many more players from around Texas.

PS. I think the Vizza kid is going to be a "STUD" in Coach TD's system.

Actually you are one of few non-arrogant SLC posters. So no...I wasn't talking to you. I never have any problems with the SLC posters that have been on here for years...you guys tend to laugh things off and stay fairly humble. While others look down their noses and think they are God's gift to Texas football. It's okay to be cocky...it's even okay to brag...I do it all the time. But you can't do those things and then cry when someone takes a shot at you. I don't...never will.
