PWF's top 10 wish list for 2007 season

For anyone who is interesed here are my top 10 wish list for 2007 season. Again this is a wishlist but their is some potential for some of these to become reality. I could have just one of course it would be the #1` wish on my list.

10.Judson has another subpar year and misses the playoffs.

9. Temple Wildcats regain the form from their glory days and makes it 3 rounds deep in the playoffs.

8. Plano's offensive line gels by 3rd game of the season and has no serious injuries through the entire year.

7. Rex Burkhead rushes for 2000 yards.

6 . Plano's QB whoever he maybe becomes efficent in the option and passes for 1500 yards for the year and puts his name up with the great QB's in Plano's recent past (aka Needman, Fifeild, Schrader, Ulmer, Maher and of course Sifkas)

5. Plano gets big early season win at Carter at Kinkaid

4. Plano beats East in District to go to 9-0.

3. Permian Panthers reach the semifinals in Division 1 and face Plano in Lubbock in a rematch from the 77 classic.

2. SLC has a below average year and falls to Plano in divison 1 Quarterfinals in Texas stadium and finish 12-2. (talking blasphey here :D )

1. Plano wins State over Katy and Brence resigns after the season to become PISD facilites Director to replace a retring Kimbrough.


Yes it is good to dream. Only 7 months to go.

Dreaming? Anyone of those above mentioned wishlists can come true. The more wishes that I hope for no doubt the odds go up. However Fall springs eternal hope and why not Plano? They have good core coming back. If they stay injury free they can have a good run. Alas, the one wrench in my dream is the HC. As always the HC is the one that makes the other wishes come true.

PWF, do you know where Sifkas is? I really admired his skills and wish Brence would have let him pass more, especially against SLC.

He let him pass one too many times against SLC. He threw that INT down only 3 points. I can still see the pass because he threw it in my direction. Wildcats had lost momentum though:( ... I don't blame Sifkas.

Bad route(s) or poorly designed play - 2 receivers within 5 yards of each other (Lott and the 6'5" sprinter - can't remember his name right now). SLC was ripe for any passing game. oo bad that day.

I think your first goal ought to be beating Wylie, a team who all Plano fans thought would be a cake walk, and then they come to Plano's stadium and pretty much SPANK Plano. You don't beat Wylie, you sure as hell want be in Playoff's competively.;)

I doubt Wylie will be a problem for Plano in 2007 unless the Pirates conveniently find a new D1 QB to move in for "academic reasons" or injure a few Plano starters with some cheap shots (see Justin Johnson and Wylie vs. Berkner 2006).
