Sam Proctor: "I'm an athlete," Proctor said. "I'm a playmaker and can really turn it on during game winning situations. I can cut on a dime and once I'm in the open I can't be caught. I still want to improve my pocket presence and play more relaxed. I need to see the whole field better and improve my vision.
I highly doubt it, but...
Any chance he sees some PT, at QB?
P.S. To all those "OU Sucks" guys, I'd ask that you not highjack this thread with countless goofy remarks, about OU. Thanks - TGO

I just don't see him getting any PT at QB....especially at a big time school like OUch. I could see him at DB and possibly Wr and returning punts and kicks.

I don't think he will. I think he will be just like Paul Thompson and moved to wr. But, the kid can go. There is no doubt about that. He is a great athlete and can do it. How is he going to adjust from getting the ball every play to only 4-5 times a game if he does get some pt.

Stoops and Co. will put him in a position where he will touch the ball quite a bit. Heck of an athlete and good pickup for OU.

I just saw a comment on another board about if Sam is a DB at OU and Fozzy is a RB at Texas how exciting the Red River Shootout will be.

Sam is not just a qb and he knows that. He will do whatever it takes to win, at pearland that meant lining up at qb majority of the time, but also lined up at rb and even caught a few passes as a reciever. But from what i hear he really likes playin defense, and if youve seen him run he runs wit that mentality. Ive heard that hes excited about returnin to the defense side of the ball in college where he played when he was at dobie along wit qb.
but ultimately i think stoops will wait and see where he can use his talent most.
should have gone somewhere where he had a chance to play some QB......
ou sucks

I highly doubt Proc will play QB at Oklahoma. In my opinion, he would be a very good running back, but he has said that he wants to play defense (in the houston chronicle). Either way, Fozzy v Sam ought to be fun to watch :)

i don't imagine it would be the new version....
not many places are considering the writing part still. 1270 on the new would not help him get recruited. plus a 3.3 gpa is pretty good, so I'm gonna guess 1270 = cr+ m

Yeah...but if I hang a sign on the gun saying, "Don't pick up the gun, point it at your face and pull the trigger", I'd hope that any person - with a 6th grade education - could and would read it, thus following its' instructions. :D
Perhaps I'm just underestimating the effectiveness of grade school education. Haha!:D

Now that's funny...:D
Ps. Most of the time when you put a "warning sign" on something. That just advertisment for someone to say, "Cool, I'm going to do it even though it says DANGER all over it."
I took some trauma medical coarses not long ago. They were going over "burns" and showed us pictures of 1st, 2nd , 3rd and even what they call 4th degree burns.
4th degree and basically you turn into charco. They showed a picture of a dude that had been "Kentucky Chicken Fried" from an electric line and there was a sign 10 feet away that basically said, "Danger..Dont Enter High Voltage." I guess maybe the guy couldnt read.

I don't know whether to laugh at the situation or cuss' the educational system of America. Gheesz! :D

i dunno if they adjusted his gpa for rivals.com, but Pearland uses the weighted 5.0 scale. An AP or honors class gets a 5.0 for an A, while a regular class gets a 4.0. However, I don't believe Sam was in any honors classes anyways, but who knows... Fozzy was an honors student :-P
