There is another thread on this. Anyway, it is unfortunate that a boy got seriously hurt no matter who was involved. There was a fight that broke out at a party and one kid was hit and fell and hit is head on the pavement. The news that is public give an account of what happened and may conflict with others accounts of what happened. Regardless, the event may have an everlasting effect. Under aged drinking , fighting and whatever else can lead to some very serious consequences.

BTW, the student charged, is not the player that you are referring to, he is, in some way, related to the player though (same last name)and still was a member of our team last year as a back-up LB.
Our prayers go out to the injured student as well as the one charged with a crime in this accident. I say, let the courts decide his fate, if he is guilty or innocent of the crime.

IMO, everyone that was drinking and fighting is guilty, and the ones at the party should know not to be present once drinking starts.
