In Louisiana, each school is given a book that contains every high school from every classification and they list every coach on staff. Does Texas have a book like that?

if your talking about a magazine type book with coaches players schedules history and what not, we have D.C football magazine along with several others, but majority of those don't come out till mid summer.

Yes, Texas high schools have a similar book. It has every high school listed alphabetically, with info such as address, phone #, mascot, and names of athletic directors, and the head coaches of each major sport for both boys and girls. A new one is sent out each year around June.
As far as I know, it does not contain names of assistant coaches though, only head coaches. It's used as a tool for coaches to contact each other and set up their non district schedules, basketball & baseball tournaments, etc.
