Looking for games

Hello Football Fans and Coaches,
My name is Clint Hortman and I am a asst coach for the Evangel Eagles in Shreveport,LA. I am in charge of all scheduling for Evangel at the middle school and freshmen football levels. I have been lucky enough to schedule four games so far with Texas Schools on my middle school level which includes three with Longview middle schools that include Foster, Forest Park, and Judson, Lufkin Jr High (twice)) in a home and home. I filled two other dates with La schools so far in my scheduling. My two open dates are Sept 13th and Sept 27th for middle school. If anyone is interested I wil leave my email at the bottom of this message.
My freshman schedule is not as filled up, I have filled two dates so far with Mansfield and Homer High School which is Sept 18th and Oct 1st as I am currently still working on that. It is a possiblity that something may still work out with Longview on a date for freshmen.

Thank You for the good luck wishes, I am hoping that some East Texas schools will want to play like the Longview middle schools, I plan on visiting Marshall once their new head coach is hired if I don't fill my dates before then. I talked to the Hallsville coach today and they have three teams so something may come out of that. Good Luck with the Dragons from SLC with the new coaching change and let me say it was a great experience in playing the Dragons even though we got our butts handed to us

It was tough for you guys with the QB's going down...Athletes all over the place for you guys..

I appreciate it, #22 played QB in middle school and in some freshmen games but he is our regular halfback. We will have six kids that will have played QB at one time or another on the squad next year whether that is middle school or high school. 3 kids that play other positions will be back next year that have QB experience,2 kids that will be freshmen with middle school experience and one transfer that played QB at another high school in Shreveport as a freshmen will be there.

Question. for your freshman games will you be playing with true freshman or some sophmores???

We will be playing with all freshmen. Our eighth grade bunch last year was pretty good as they went undefeated in jr high play in 8 games. This group could be pretty special if they all stick together and work hard with training in the offseason and just generally maturing. I should have around 20 to 22 kids that will be playing freshmen ball. Gunner do you coach somewhere? Helllo Texas Fans,
I had two schools decommitt from playing within days of each other. One jr high had promised to play the last weekend of Aug but cancelled because his principal had landed a home game and the other principal cancelled what their coach had scheduled because of how ECA's varsity has played since 93 since winning title games plus the excuse was handed to me that well, you are playing Texas Schools you must be pretty good so we don't want to play. I will say this, Texas schools don't back down, pissed me off yesterday getting two cancells in a row.
