What are your predictions as to how they will finish?
Who will make the tournament?
Will anyone make it to or past the Sweet 16?

1. Kansas/Texas
2. Texas/Kansas
3. Oklahoma State.
4. Texas A&M
5. Baylor
Kansas, Oklahoma St., Texas, Texas A&M are all good enough to make to the sweet 16... Texas, Duke, and UCONN are the only teams to make the sweet 16 the past 4 of 5 years

1. Kansas
2/3 - A&M/UT or vice versa
4 - OSU
5 - Tech
I think that A&M, KU and UT all make the sweet 16 with Tech and OSU making the round of 32. Based on talent alone I would see Texas having the best chance to make a final four run. With the home schedule Kansas has is why I givethem to nod to take the conference title.

history doesnt repeat itself, the mistakes do. right now A&M has corrected those mistakes and has a true winner on hand. if he stays at A&M the few years then you can expect to see Billy Clyde get the Ags into the elite 8 and possible final four.
I for one dont see him sticking around that long but if he does then watch out.

This wasn't just about A&M; I'm seriously interested about what people think about Big 12 B-Ball this year. I think we're definitely one of the stronger basketball conferences and should have 3+ seeds in the tourney.

The big 12 has improved lots this year. It still is not on par with the ACC, SEC or Big East but it is quickly getting to that level.

LOL why not... We have arguably the best player in the nation in Kevin Durant who leads the big 12 in scoring and rebounds and is 6th in the nation in PPG ... We have AJ Abrams who is tops in the Nation in 3pt shooting... DJ Augustin is a helluva player and Also leads the Big 12 in assists... Rick Barnes isnt to bad of a coach either... at least A&M almost beat LSU... who Texas did beat this year...

Another record fell tonight as A&M allowed 69 points to Colorado. Up until tonight they were the only team in the nation to hold all opponents to no more than 65 points. They still lead the nation in shooting percentage defense, their opponents averaging only 34 percent.
I had to throw that little homer stat in there. ;)

The Big XII is really on the upswing on B-Ball
As a homer, I see the BigXII going:
1. A&M
2.Kansas
3.OK State
4.Texas
But that's just me. A&M has really made a fantastic turnaround, and Byrne has shown in the past that he is NOT afraid to throw money around to get a winning (or slightly better than .500 --> Fran  ;) ) program. BCG was one of Byrne's hires, and I think he will try to keep him for sure. A&M will make the sweet 16 this year I think, and maybe the Elite 8 or Final 4.

BCG will be gone in two years. I already bet a great friend of mine who graduated from A&M that BCG will be gone. He seems to think BCG wont ever leave A&M. This bet has a case of beer riding on it. When it comes to beer I usually dont lose bets.
