EA Sports has teamed with Rivals.com to bring in-season recruiting to the NCAA Football franchise! You can now receive soft verbal commitments during the season, send out invites for official visits, etc. Also, your schools' academic reputation will have an effect on guys you recruit...and vice versa, guys you recruit can, over time, affect your schools' academic prestige. Furthermore, they've added the ability to open a recruiting "pipeline" to certain geographical areas.

They've also made some other significant upgrades/additions...

Export your draft class(saving it to your memory card) then upload it to madden.

That's pretty cool.
I bought MLB 2K5 and I'm already bored with it...
not enough hidden stuff or lockables...
This will probably be my next game.

MVP 2005 is the better one.. ive found EA sports rules football and baseball and the 2K5 series rules basketballl

Can somebody tell me why EA Sports doesnt offer NCAA Football for the PC? I dont have a Gamecube, PS2 or X Box... nor do I want one. I love playing the games on my PC much more. I have all the Madden games and MLB games, but why no NCAA? That's the game I want the most.

Can the coaches gamble on the NCAA basketball tournament on the side?

Those coaches need to party with students, play golf, and go to strip joints, too.

hopefully. Maybe also when you are allowed to call a recruit and not talk to them in person, maybe you could send a coach to the player's house and call on a cell phone and tell the kid you are right outside but cannot come in and talk to him face to face. Maybe you could also send people on Willie Williams like recruiting trips equipped with a private jet, 6 lobsters, 8 steaks, a fire extinguisher that you can actually use, and a sexual assault.

I remember standing outside the Alamodome and watching Oklahoma St. and Ohio St. walk inside and thinking, "Oklahoma St. doesn't cheat enough to win this game." Ohio St. was a lot bigger.

From what i understand from articles i've read, yes, that does happen. When recruits commit they either give you a hard or soft commitment, hard obviously meaning that they arent likely to change their mind and are focused on going to your school, soft meaning that they can change their mind at any given time... Perriloux style ;)
