I def. agree with you on that one. He has an excellent Combo with his arm and legs... If anyone gets a chance to watch this kid, please do. He is prob one of the best Dual Threats i have seen this year.

Hmmm we will see what we think of Horace Gibson after this week in a big game. Sam McGuffie has proven he can run with some good defenses. I will be interested to see wat Gibson does against Westfield.

He has yet to give any real hint on this. However, the betting here is that he will be headed out of state to a university with a strong engineering program. He will have his choice of all kinds of great schools. He's already been offered by Nebraska, Houston and Baylor, but I see about 0% chance he would go to any of those schools given his and his family's academic standards. I would be thinking more along the lines of Ga Tech, Purdue, Michigan, Penn State, Cal and Stanford. And don't count out his father's alma mater, West Virginia. But those are just guesses.

He is definitely going to be thinking about academics first and football second.

It's going to be really tough to be an engineer and play college football. Especially at a school with a strong engineering program.

Woods is a great player but he hasnt put up the numbers that I expected....I think in district he does just enough to win....when the Redskins play big competition, that's when he shines.

There are plenty of great backs and receivers around, but it's hard to forget the other guys that make it happen on the scoreboard. The Lane Baileys, Jacoby Reeds, and the biggest play maker on most Friday night fields, Derrick Stephens.

You got that right - he is AWESOME. Everyone seems to focus on offense and without a good defense, it doesn't matter what the offense is doing. Derrick is having a good season as is Fred Billings, Steadman Coleman and Jerrod Black (what a game he had last week - he was all over the place it seemed). Lane has been doing well also!!

AND, since this is your first post - WELCOME to the jungle! I'm sure you've been out there but there are so many who just read and don't join the fun!

you're right, maybe a tad, but you have to admit that stephens is one of the most dominating defensive forces right now. and judging by how the season is unfolding, special teams should have a big role in the playoffs.

oh yeah...hes definitely a good one.. no doubt about that.... i know NS could have used his abilities:eek:

Old Eagle LB

ya'll don't need him. What what i can tell, ns's secondary has the speed to clean up any leaks, while it is crucial to plug holes with our defense.
