Now you know how the Austin area feels about Westlake. At least Smithson Valley has a track record of making it to state. No other Austin area team can take claim to that, yet the Austin American statesman still thinks they are head and shoulders above the rest of the Austin area teams. Westlake was 3-6 against 14-5a from 01 to 05 going 3-2 against Westwood (a team that made the playoffs once throughout that stint) and 0-2 against both Leander and Pflugerville. Yet the hype will never die. I guess we need to beat them and find some way to win a state championship :rolleyes: to shift the hype.

hmm idk i think it could be a toss up seguins offense is better then last years..i really think the only reason judson scored them 14 points in the 2nd half was cause the offense kept on goin 3 and outs so D was tired..

Judson had a fair run back in the 90's but I believe it is over with now. Permian still holds the title of the best team in the late 1900's.

There really isn't much hype with Judson. We tell you that they start slow and finish fast. We say they usually win their Region and it's true. If you don't want to hear about Judson, tell your teams to start beating them on a consistent basis.

I will admit that Judson is getting better as the season goes along, but in my opinion they aren't that great really. A very good middle of the pack team at best.

They're definitely better than middle of the pack. I think the year will show they were justified in being ranked #10 to start the year. Judson is better after 7 games in 2006 than they were after 7 games in 2005. They're trying to work out the kinks on offense, but they're firing along pretty good right now and the defense is making plays.

Actually losing games in this district is to be expected. It is a great district with great teams .So if Judson loses to one of these teams it is nothing to be ashamed of. Now losing to Seguin? That would be down right embarrassing!

Hey Leander who do you play next and whens your next home game. I want to check you guys out again. Plus I'll need directions.
We play Georgetown High on friday at 730 @ AC Bible JR Memorial stadium (Leander's home field). If you're coming north on I-35 you would take the 620 exit and take a left on 620. Then follow 620 and take a right on 183. Follow 183 and take a left on 1431. And no more then a mile up 1431 you will take a right at Bagdad. Then go down Bagdad for about two miles and you'll see Leander High school on the left. You'll see how the parking works, its usually not that bad.

I think trying to match the 90's is the main gripe that Judson fans have right now. They're one of the best this decade, but it pales in comparison to the 90's.
