This game should be a test for the tigers.

#18 Killeen Ellison(5-0) @ #9 A&M Consolidated(4-1)

Any predictions?

I admit I don't know that much about Ellison? How were they when they played you guys? Do they have any standout players?

But I can't go away from the Tigers @ TigerLand! I'm pick us, but I'm not gonna guess on a score.

gotta go with my boy up above me. score is impossible for us to guess, since we don't know anything about ellison. our offense might have finally figured out what we need to do. it should be a great game though, with it being homecoming and everything.

Their QB is a junior and very good, he is a dual threat qb and has a monster arm and quit\agile feet, he had over 2,500 yds passing and almost 1,000 rushing...

dang. i guess its a good thing we have that highly ranked linebacker corps to try and keep that boy in check. it'll definitely be an interesting game. but we'll get em in the 3rd quarter when the drumline comes out.

I think this should be a good game, but i fully expect us to pull out the victory. Yes, ellison has had a good run, but its a rare thing that we get beat on our own field, especially on homecoming (yes, i know humble did it a few years ago but like i said, its rare). I think our offense has finally got the ball rolling and our defense is already very good. Our secondary should hold up well against the pass and unless they have a stud running back like katy, i dont see them getting much with the rushing game. AMC 28- Ellison 14

My son tells me the drumline is about 10 times more effective in screwing things up for the other guys as the entire band is. Go Drum Line!

no joke, have u seen how the stands flex when we jump? im pretty sure we are gona break it one day.

no joke... we broke the SHSU benches... maybe if we break ours they'll buy us a new stadium;)...

maybe. i learned about this in my eco. class. one of the reasons we haven't gotten a new stadium or even any recent rennovations, is because the stadium would then have to meet several new safety standards that it does not have to meet right now. rennovating would force the school board to put in an elevator for handicapped people and other things like that. so they are putting it off to try and save some money. but hopefully those stands will break friday night and we can get the new stadium or at least rennovations. its ridiculous right now.

At the Shoemaker game, Mr. Fox made everyone stop jumping b/c there were bolts coming out of the bleachers, and you could see that they were flexing a whole lot. But that's just a Friday night in TigerLand.

Ellison QB (Ivan Delgado) is a Junior this year. He started at QB as a Sophmore. He took Ellison three rounds deep in the playoffs last year in 4A. I'm not sure about the number mention earlier but it would not suprise me for them to be close.

From what Ive heard this qb sounds like the guy from shoemaker last year, amazing runner and great throwing arm. Hopefully the def. end's will be able to contain the QB from ellison alot better this game.

well i guess were gona have to jump extra hard then cause ours is tiny. I bet we overflow by close to 2000 tonight...

Dont worry about the stands breaking anytime soon...just wont happen....plus they have endured many seasons of the same type of treatment....if they were ever going to fall it would have been back in '94 in our 23-3 win over Odessa Permian....EVERYBODY was into the game that night...There has never been another crowd like that at Tigerland..NEVER.
As for the game tonight...I see a very close game going into the second half and look for Consol to dominate time of posession...but may not result in a lot of points...in the 3rd and 4th qtr. Ellison will score in the 2nd half, but what they do will be quick strikes and their defense will be on the field too much...look for consol to score on their final 2 or 3 posessions of the game. Final 31-21 consol.

Ya he sounds alot like Smith from Shoemaker last year, but at this point he is twice the player Smith was and Smith was one heckuva QB. That is saying alot!!!

Think it will be a tight game.

I never knew we played them. Was it a pre-district game or what? That would have been a long drive for them!
