Does Shamrock suffer another beat down from the "Huntington Beach Bad Boy" or will the "Baddest Man on the Planet" finally shut up Ortiz? If Ortiz wins again do you think he gets beat down by Chuck "The Iceman" Lidell in the title match? I think Ortiz wins tonight and then gets knocked out by "The Iceman" when they fight. If Shamrock pulls a stunner then Ortiz will not get a shot at Lidell. We will see.

I love Shamrock but he has to understand that the UFC has changed a lot since he's ruled it...in his Prime he KILLS Tito.....I have no idea why the feel a 3rd fight is needed...Ken is hurting his legacy here...the same with Royce Gracie trying to come back....this could get Brutal....these guys really hate each other...although I am pulling for Shamrock......I think Tito takes him out......again

Ortiz is going to put another smack on Ortiz. Then he is going to beat Lidell. He is going to take Lidell down and lay on him with just enough action to keep them in that position. Like the Ortiz vs. Wanderlei Silva match. If Lidell finds a way to get up, Ortiz will run from him until he can take him down again. (Like the Ortiz vs. Wanderlei match). Also, Hughes is going to beat GSP when they fight, and BJ Penn is going to get a rubber match against Matt and beat him. As for the Super Heavy weights, ****** Tim Silvia is going to stay champ until the Pride guys get out of their contacts. Then he is going to get beat by Fedor, and about 4 other guys from Pride. In light weight, Kenny Florian is going to be champ. I dont like him, but that is the way its going to go. He was ok at 185, but is perfect for 155.

I wish Quentin "Rampage" Jackson would come to UFC....I enjoyed watching him beat Liddell from pillar to post.
Gracie vs Shamrock would be cool...the winner could fight Dan Severn.....lol

After Gracie got beat down by Matt Hughes he said he would be back. Maybe he will be back in an old timers match like you said. Gracie vs Shamrock.

If you watch last season of the Ultimate fighter which had Ken and Tito as the coaches you saw that Ken doen't realize that this isn't the same UFC eh competed in. I mean the way he trained his guys had even them questioning his methods. The days of being one diminsional in the UFC are over in order to succeed now you have to be at least average in all phases of the game and Ken is not. He still thinks he can just go in there and take someone down and lock in his ankle log submission and win. Which not saying he can't but tis not as easy to do as it once was. I do think Tito wins and goes on to fight Liddell in a rematch.

I am glad it is FREE tonight.:D I paid for the last fight between the two and felt a bit ripped off because of how the fight ended. I just wont get to watch it live tonight because I will be in Huntsville at my son's 8th grade football game. I will record it on my DVR and watch it when I get home.

What did Ken bring to that to help? A boxing coach and a bodybuilder? That right there should have told you something. You cant get anywhere in the UFC if you do not have some jiu jitsu work. Even if you do not plan to use it, you need to know how to defend against it. Tito brought in the best BJJ guy available.

Isn't there going to be a Lidell vs Silva fight sometime soon? I remember they announced it during the last Ortiz vs Shamrock fight but I have not heard anything about it since then.

And that is what Idiot Dana White is hoping for. He made that announcement after all the fans were upset with the "early stop" in the Shamrock fight. However, it was made before Pride and the UFC had a contract. It was suppose to take place in November, but I doubt it ever does now. Mirko kind of laid it on Silva recently, so even if it was really scheduled, it would be delayed. I am sure the Silva loss will be Dana's excuse now.

Well they announced it LIVE on tv after the last Ortiz vs Shamrock fight. I saw it with my own eyes. I just haven't heard anything since then. I remember Silva getting in the octagon and getting his words mixed up. He said "I wanna f*** Chuck" and then corrected himself and said "Fight Chuck." Then Chuck Lidell got in the octagon and they both just gave each other a stare down as the owner of UFC announced that they would be fighting in the near future.

You were right, it was announced, and he did say he wanted to F*** Chuck. All of us that were watching just looked at each other in silence, and then cracked up! It was great.

Concerning the rumored Liddell/Silva I found this on Wikipedia when looking at the UFC 65 show.
UFC 65's slated main event was a championship superfight with UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Chuck Liddell defending his title against PRIDE Middleweight Champion Wanderlei Silva, a matchup UFC President Dana White announced during UFC 61 on July 8, 2006. Since then, the matchup appears to have been postponed or cancelled because of contractual disagreements between the UFC and PRIDE, as White has announced in several interviews.
Don't know how many saw it last night but Stephen A. Smith had Liddell and Matt Hughes on his Quite Frankly show last night. he asked them about the possibility of us ever seeing UFC guys taking on the Pride guys in some interpromtional matches and both said they doubted it would ever happen. They said the biggest reason was because neither promotion would want to see their champion lose to a champion from the rival promotion. So unless some of these Pride guys come over once their contracts are up then these dream fights aren't going to happen.

I agree. I never was a fan of Shamrock because of all the "respect" talk, but what class.. I thought that was really cool of him, and it had to be hard to do.

And I am glad Ortiz came around to accepting the handshake etc. It was good to hear his nice comments about Shamrock after Shamrock finished speaking. Now can Ortiz beat Lidell in the next fight?

True, I was about to lose the small amount of respect that I give Ortiz if he did not stop running from Shamrock. He has turned into a respectable fighter the past year, and he just about blew it. Glad he didnt, and liked his comments. Starting to show some class. Like I said, if Ortiz takes Lidell down and does what he does, yea he can beat him. The problem is getting Chuck down. Once he is down, he is not near as good as he is standing. We just dont see it very often (other than Rampage). I will say yes if Tito can take him down, and no if he cant.
