So lets just say I were to take a girl out on a date this next weekend, now what in the world is there to do in Houston, preferable in the Northeast area?

actually I thought about going to the aquarium downtown but her mom is kinda protective and I dont know if she would let me drive down that far. She is in to animals and fun stuff like that so the zoo was another option but I don't know. Right now those are my two options.

I can tell you what I would do, but I would have to know her age first. I'm not going down that road again.

If you are gonna do the Aquaruim....do the one in Kemah....the one downtown is cool for taking the kids, but Cityfest is this weekend and the traffic will be crazy.....Kemah boardwalk= perfect place for a date.

yes.. traffic was crazy... there were many hispanics walking in the streets...for city fest.:eek:

Deerbrook Mall AMC theater (if you wann watch a movie in peace...not a good place...But your prob already know that)
Where to take her (how much you looking to spend):
Fogo de Choa (exspensive and in the galleria)
go-carts: why the hell not ( right thier next to Aldine Mail rt, or Mountasia in kingwood)
Cheese cake factory in the woodlands
Chuys: got to love that Jalapeno Ranch dip
Pappadeux by willowbrook (one on 1960 and ella i think sucks...dont got thier)
Ruth Chris: if you wanna go broke while really trying to impresse her...Good place to get cleaned out.
Logans road house: That place is fun cause ya can through your penut shells on thier ground....Off of 290 and hollister.
Thier are all my ideas...

No lie, i just ate there last night. I might have eaten there 3 times in the past week and thats alot for me to eat in the same place that many times. Nice and cheap good mexican food. YUUMM.

Well, the movie tavern is more for a teen hangout. They try to make it all social and everything. When i've been on dates before going there I really didnt like it, but hey, others say its really cool.

Oh...sorry...how old are you if you don't mind me asking? I think Alamo Drafthouse is 18 to get in 21 to drink...so it's a perfect date, great food and you don't have to worry about the "younger" crowd.

You should be able to get in....but you can't drink....but you said NE Houston so it might be too far out.....The Kemah Boardwalk is cool.....or how about this.....get a picnic basket and go layout in front of the San Jacinto monument. Like I said earlier...Downtown aquarium is ok for the Family, but on a date the one is Kemah is a lot better.....don't take advice from these other busters...I am the "Ladies Man"....lol

Id rather go watch a movie at North-line mall (magic theater) were you can that thier is a massive amount of chewing gum stuck to the screen, and not to mention the rips in the screen.
I dont really like the Aquarium...thier overpriced...But then again what seafood resturant isnt... Thier appetizers are horrible...The fried pickles onions and jalapenos looks like they took leftovers and fried it... The stuffed shrimp though was fantastic.

Actually, I was going to take her on a picnic to Jesse Jones Park because she said she really liked it there and its pretty much right down the street. True story.

Yeah, I work close to Razoo's over here on 59...pretty decent...Benihana(sp) is also great for dates...along with PF Changs....but if he wants BIG TIME points on the first date.....Take her to "Buid-a-bear":D

Well...try the Improv or Laugh Stop for some comedy and dinner...OH...or Gillian's on I-10.........just some more ideas. But if I were you.....I'd go Kemah....you can even put on an earpice and let me tell you what to say if you like...lol:D
