This is very upsetting but I thought I should pass it along. Check out your drivers license online. Now you can see anyone's Driver's License on the Internet, including your own! I just searched for mine and there it was. The picture and all!! Thanks to Homeland Security! Where are our rights? I definitely removed mine. I would suggest you do the same... Go to the web site and check it out. Just enter your name, city and state to see if yours is on file. After your license comes on the screen, click the box marked "Please Remove". This will remove it from public viewing, but not from law enforcement.

If I'd have known my drivers license picture was going to be on the world-wide-web, I would have combed my hair.

I don't think so. Problem is showing proof of insurance.

I was getting scared there for a minute. But hey I may look like that in the mornings.
You can renew your license online just as long as you have nothing on your record. I just did may last week. Still waiting on the actual license in the mail but it gives you a print out until the original comes. Alot better than going to DMV and waiting in line for hours.

I think I am getting drivers license renewal mixed up with auto registration renewal.
It's been awhile since I renewed my drivers license, but its seems like I am always renewing my license sticker. Last time, they told me I had to get knew plates.

I don't know if this is done randomly or everyone will have to do so, but some renewal notices are coming with the requirement you have to show proof of a social security number. I am told this has something to do with homeland security. It used to be you could do all on line as long as you had not had tickets for some past period of time.
