That was a really cool show. Some good pub for Houston football, and HS football in general. What I liked about it most was that it continued to proved what clueless people the Texans have running their franchise to pass on a guy like that. You can't ask for a more "homegrown hero" than Vince.

It was cool. The highlights from the NS game were just sick. The off-balance pass was incredible.
Texans really screwed the pooch by passing on Vince...you're right KT>

Those "North Shore" highlights were sick...but that wasn't North Shore :D. They were in their all-reds for that game and Madison was in their white tops. But hey, only a true dork like myself would notice something like that.

I enjoyed the show and I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

So who was it?
I'm not real familiar with Houston HS colors and uniforms. I'm an East Texas boy remember?

I'm pretty sure that footage was from the Hightower game his senior year.

When he was talking about the North Shore game, they showed some footage of Hightower and mixed in footage of Madison vs. another HISD team in the Dome during the regular season. I couldn't tell who it was.

The red and yellow team they showed highlights of was Yates of course. That was the other Dome footage they aired.

Also, they showed clips of the first game they played his senior year against Aldine (all white unis, outside) at Butler Stadium.

It's a documentary really. Very well done and doesn't come off as self serving. Had his family and friends all involved. Some very positive messages in there.

My old neighborhood got a lot of airtime also...Mt.Horeb baptist church is in 4th Ward....Rev. Smith was our pastor also.

Great Show.....Vince is really a cool guy. I thought he was a hot head after the Yates game though and I really didn't like him...there was an incident were he was called for un-sportsman like conduct and he threw his helmet and shoved coach Seals...I thought to myself "He's never gonna make it with that attitidue" Boy was I wrong.

Come to think of it....I think it was the North Shore game and Vince was playing saftey and made a big hit on the ball carrier......
