its a no win situation for my liver in that the yankees winning means I drink more or the yankees losing means I drink more. I am now a Minnesota Twin, Oakland A and Detroit Tiger fan

Just give up and come over to the dark side and proudly root for the pinstripers. :D Win or lose, they are still the greatest baseball team to ever play the game. Come on, even as a Yankees fan, I hold the red sox in higher esteem than the national league.

yeah that was funny as hell, must admit im guilty of still laughing from that convo the other night. imagine when its not on the phone and in person pouding beer after beer :eek:

that comment of the one player was a inside joke between wide and myself, it comes from the genius that is one of my friends from connecticut. whoever represents the AL will sweep come the World Series.

those 26 championships just mean that they suck 26x more times than the average suck.
that .315 average sure has been rewarded here of late too from one who sucks just as much. come on yankee, you should know its not about numbers in a situation like this ;)

He had a typical post season gay-fraud perforance going 0-4 with 3 K's including one in the first inning with bases loaded, i kid you not when he came up in the first in that situation I told myself, self he's going to strike out and BOOM he lived up to his October reputation. :D
