Chase Daniel, sophomore, has been playing great so far... his numbers are similar to Brady Quinn a heisman hopeful...

I watched the game and he looked good. By the way, there is a place to put threads about college players. It is in the college section of the forum.

I'm not sold yet on Daniel & Missouri, mainly because of the quality of the opponents Missouri has played. But now that they are coming into the meat of their Big 12 schedule we will see what this team is made of. When Ole Miss at home is the toughest game on the schedule so far you have to take the team with a grain of salt.

LPFan is right there is a NCAA Forum for this stuff, but since you brought it up
Daniels has looked good in the opening part of this season but I would not compare him to Brady Quinn. Mizzou has played Murray State, Mississippi, New Mexico, Ohio and Colorado. Quinn and the Irish have played G-Tech, Penn State, Mich, Mich-State, and Purdue. Quinn has put up his numbers against teams with a combined record of 19-6. Daniels has a bit of an easer road with his opponents combined record being 6-19. Let's see how he does out in Lubbock and then at Kyle field before we start handing out the hardware.

ole miss played georgia a pretty good game, so either ole miss is better than advertised, or ga isn't as good as some thought. mizzou is getting the same respect slc did chase's soph year. i for one don't assume they are going to run the table, but even if they did, due to the marvelous playoff system devised by the idiots at large running the ncaa, the tigers have exactly zero chance of being the champion. the uil has screwed up lots of things, but at least their playoffs allow a nobody in preseason to go all the way(see 02 slc).
