lol... exactly. I said that I heard he was redshirting because of issues with his grades... and you gave me a "smart ***" response... so if that isn't the reason.. why is he redshirting after a great freshman year? I mean, that would be lik OU saying.. Hey AP... you had a great freshman year... but yeah, we are sitting you this year.

No stupid... I was told that... I didn't make it up....and it makes sense. Unless you can tell me otherwise, why would you question it? Why would somebody just make that up?

I didnt question it...I said I live here...

Let's see...I graduate from ASU so long ago...

redshirt=you can to preserve a year of eligibility...

12 semester hours in the fall and spring leaves you in good standing...

24 semester hours at the end of a year makes you a FRESHMAN...

unless you plan on taking summer classes and getting done or plan on not playing your senior year...you redshirted...

and no I have NOT HEARD that's the case with Kyle...but it is the more usual case...at least back in my day...

signed,
stupid *******

Your demeanor questioned it. I have heard from more than one person... so believe what you want. People normally don't wreck and then redshirt... sorry pal.

you and I should be in-laws...so I could beat your a$$ every Thanksgiving...:D

I didnt make a statement of FACT like you did...
If a girl posted that I would've let it go...gossip...but I know you know better...
WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT HIS SITUATION??? How many hours did he complete his TRUE FRESHMAN year? Ms Mad works at ASU and I dont have that knowledge...

ASU is a very tough school academically...but they also have great student tutoring support for student athletes...

Last year it was Kyle HAD to go to ASU because of his grades...

Well let me tell you...there are a hell of a lot of places he could have and should have gone if academics are the issue...

If what you have heard is right...it will NOT get easier...and he'll be playing his last three years of eligibility somewhere else...

... just go ahead and PM me the names of your neices and Ill myspace them and before you know it... I will be kicking your *** at thanksgiving:D:p Cause you know what, I could make it happen. ;)

d-2 rules are completely different from d-1. there is no clock that starts running and never stops, taking a year of eligibility with every year on the calender. the d-2 player has 10 semesters of football to play 4 falls of actual football. i have no idea about why a stud like fox isn't playing, but it isn't a redshirt issue like it would be in d-1. he could sit out 20 more years and come back to play with his son if he wanted to.

Neither one of us know anything that we'll post as fact about Kyle...
That's just what we do when we end up in the same thread...

That'd be a long time in school...or a ripe old age to return...

Kyle is a D-I running back...maybe like a Houston or Kansas...

the 10 semesters includes spring training and fall years not actually playing, but on team. my son played last year with a man who graduated in 99, and he was actually a jr in eligibility( he had played 2 seasons prior to last season, starting in the 99 season).

i don't know about the transfer to d-1 except that it requires sitting out a season.

He is still at ASU, but sitting out until he can choose to attend class and pass. His grades dropped below the red line. Once back up he will be playing again.
