Now there's an argument for a mercy rule. Can you imagine how bad the defense would have to be?

I saw that on ESPN this morning. That's crazy, he was running past everybody. I would hate to be the other team's defense in practice the next week:eek: ! Talk about hard practices.

Did you watch the clips... it looked like middle school football. Not taking anything away from the kid, cause running over 600 yards at any level is impressive..... But i understand were people come from when they say that the quality of the other team looked like Pop warner.

Call me whatever you want, but I honestly thought it was a Jr. High game at best. Both teams looked like a very poor 1A school in Texas. I dont see that kid or that team doing anything against a top 1A school in Texas. He might get a couple of TDs. Its not like he is the next Barry Sanders because of some stats. You have to look at the teams they are playing, and if you watch the clip you will agree.

I'm not sure I could run 739 yards in a football game even if there wasn't team on the other side of the ball! That's really amazing.:p

About 1 & 3/4 laps around a track. Sounds longer because its football.

the other teams defense has a lot to do with his production, but i still give the kid his props. nice running, and congrats for him on making his way into their state record books. that is an accomplishment we will probably not see again for a VERY long time, or maybe never again...
