Help I did not get to hear about the game and I am so excited Mesquite won. What Qrt did Kelly Page get hurt? Did Luke Halpin QB the rest of the game? He is awesome and he is only a sophmore. I liked the chances with Page and Halpin trading out QB. Kept the other team surprised.

Where did you hear that Kelly Page was hurt? Halpin is more than capable as a backup if true, however.

smoaky.com reported that Page hurt his knee and MAY be done for the season.....hate to hear that.....Daves mag has Halpin listed as 5'0'' that has to be a misprint...right???

Kelly was hurt in the 3rd quarter. I haven't heard anything about how bad it is....he left the game on crutches. Yes Luke did quarterback the rest of the game and he is a good sophomore quarterback. He and Kelly have been rotating the last three games. If he's really out for the season....he will be sorely missed.:( :( :(

I don't know anything about Halpin but Page is quite a good QB. I have seen Mesquite twice and they have a good ball club. I see no reason why they should not finish first in their district if the replacement QB is anywhere near as good as Page. :cool:

We talked about his in Week 0 and now we're saying the samething. 4 weeks into the season and it looks like this is one of those years where everyone is almost "even" in the district. I think there is 4 or 5 teams that can actually win the district.

Mesquite losing Page is a pretty big blow but I hear the backup is pretty salty at the QB spot. But, Page is a legit D-1A caliber QB prospect.
