the only problem is that its about 24-5a football of which we have far to few posters on this board.

I've been at A&M since August and have only seen wins and losses coming from 24-5a, but I have no meat. Can someone answer these questions for me if you can

How's Pearland doing, do they look like they have another domiannt team? Namely how are Fozzy and Proctor doing?

Why is Creek 0-3, they were supposed to be a contendor this year, what happened?

How is Lake running with the option this year? How do the new players and new QB look? How would this team fare in the playoffs?

How is Brazoswood, which has been a bottom feeder for about 4 years, now 3-0?

Has G Ball recovered from the ineligibility scandal? How do they look this year?

Anything from Alvin or Brook also?

probably not what yall were hoping for when i said a non slc, lufkin, or 26-5a thread but any info yall have would be greatly appreciated. I feel so in the dark not knowing how they're doing after i've followed them religously for 4 years, thanks guys

Pearland struggled last week against Memorial, coming from behind to win 24-17.

I don't know how much weight to give this game, as Memorial is said to be down a bit this year talent-wise. However, they always come out of the gates at 0-3 against a brutal nondistrict schedule, but then always seem to toughen up defensively and make the playoffs. So whether Memorial is really down or not from prior years is yet to be determined. This week Memorial plays Westfield and I suspect they will get pasted pretty good (but so would just about any school not named Lufkin, Katy or North Shore).

Hope that is helpful to your question. I am glad to see a 24-5A topic. Looks like Pearland and Clear Lake are the teams to beat.
