Abilene and Tyler Lee I want to say that my Eagles will win but I said that last week against Mesquite. We proved that we can score and stop a decent team. So why can't we win. Oh I forgot most of the teams we played this year have won at least 1 state championships in the last 10 years, and plus most of team has little varsity experince. Its going to be long year for the Eagles.:(

Unfortuneately I would have to pick Tyler Lee over the eagles just because I think this year is more of a transitional year for the eagles, just like you guys were before Potts came into the picture. Next year though you guys will be runnin with the big boys again.

Abilene High let Mesquite hang around in that game and could have beaten them.

I don't see this as a blow out...I think it will be close game...Eagles are VERY hungry for a win...and if Lee's offense plays flat like last week then it will be a long night for Lee...unless Lee's defense shuts them down like they did Kimball...

Looking forward to this one, have got lots of friends in the Abilene, Anson area. I think I've heard something about Abilene having some trouble stopping the run, if that has not been corrected it could be a long night for the Warbirds. That beeing said REL has some injury problems on the offensive line that could slow the rushing attack down some. Should be a fun night in the big house. My West Texas buds be safe, a long drive coming and going.

mesquite did not knock off the # 3 team in the state , it was plano east that beat then #3 garland.31-24.

well I have tried to set him straight but he is convinced that Mesquite is the best team in 125a. IMO Mesquite is the 3rd best team behind Longview and Lee. Mesquite returns a ton from a ok team last year. The game I saw them their D1 QB didnt play but it wouldnt have mattered.

You are right, I guess Mesquite beat Plano East, who beat Garland. My point is, it pains me when I think our team might be looking past a team perfectly capable of whooping our arse if we are not ready. I guess my "dated" self knows a little about how this works with kids. I think it will be a tough game tonight. It should help if our line is back. Go Rebs

They might be the most talented and I sont deny that but they sure arent playing like it......Abilene is 0-4 now and just doesnt look like a very good team and they kept it close.....if Lee plays to their potential they will win district but they havent done that through 4 games so they better hurry up....

i agree c-lise. they havnt played up to their own potiential all year. they played well against trinity. the best they played all year. but then they couldnt get away from penalties. it seems like they only play to the potintial of the team they playin against. but as long as i can get a win then i jus have to take it.
