2008 Outlook:
Madison fielded one of the best teams in the state last year, and somehow managed to keep things on track despite a rash of injuries. A drop off year is naturally expected after graduating such a talented senior class, but the Mavericks got big contributions from non-seniors last year as well. Senior DB-RB Andrew Green and junior LB Kris Catlin are two of the top returning players.

2008 Outlook:
Warren posted a 10-2 record last year and return six all-district starters in 2008. The Warriors have gained a reputation for strong defense, and senior DT Calvin Howell will help insure that doesn’t change this season. Howell is a top Division 1 recuirt. Senior OLB Tyler Smith and senior DB Joseph Bonugli add to Warren’s potential. Anyone who plays consistently good defense will be tough to beat, and this is a principle in which Warren has built its young program.
